you are allowed to be proud of the victories that no one else can see. like showering without completely hating your body, not breaking into tears at the thought of the future, talking yourself out of a dark mindset, calming yourself down in public, or like waking up every single day and choosing life. be proud of the progress no matter if it is visible for others or not. youâre doing great, keep up the good work!
HENRY CAVILL GQ Spain ph. by Michael Schwartz
the way people react to Mor in acosf makes me think that yall areâŚ.not very loyal friends?
like wtf is Mor SUPPOSED to say to Nesta when Nesta has been objectively unkind to Feyre and Cass at multiple points? like how is Mor supposed to know what trauma Nesta has when Nesta never spoke about it to the IC. This is understandable, she does not have to share and is very privateâbut Nesta, and a lot of youâŚneed to understand that if you havenât given someone a reason for why youâre being terrible, they might justâŚthink the worst and with good reason! If Nesta had sat Mor down and said âIâm a survivor of x and x and feel helpless and want to healâ Iâm sure Mor would have had a good reaction. But Nesta didnât, and she got that moment with Emerie and Gwyn instead, which was wonderful.
butâŚ.how do yall react irl when someone is being cruel to your friendsâŚ.do you say âwell they have trauma so lets forgive themâ or do youâŚ.try and defend your friends because uh
trauma is never a good excuse to be unkind and Mor TRIED to be nice to Nesta when they were introduced and Nesta was always uninterested in being kind back!
idk I just think that the whole âi cant forgive mor for saying a few unkind words to nesta but nesta is uwu baby princess who can do no wrongâ is a HELLSCAPE of a take. Nesta ADMITS to having an issue with using cruel words. SoâŚâŚâŚwhile yeah maybe Mor was not Picture Perfect in her treatment of Nesta consider:
1. Nesta has not been picture perfect in her treatment of likeâŚanyone aside from Gwyn and Emerie
2. Mor loves Feyre and Cass who Nesta hurt frequently pre acosf, itâs literally fine and okay behavior to defend your friends
3. why do people continue to judge characters based on whether or not they were unkind to Nesta like WHAT EVEN IS THAT
NOT EVERYONE WILL LIKE EVERYONE ELSE
ITâS A BOOK IT NEEDS CONFLICT
MOR AND NESTA ARE DIAMETRICALLY OPPOSED IN PERSONALITY TYPE IF SJM HAD THEM BE FRIENDS OR HAD MOR BE OKAY WITH NESTA TREATING CASSIAN LIKE SHIT IT WOULD BE SO OOC OH MY GOD
I want you all to myself || oh, but you know me too well
For the story âManacledâ by @senlinyuwrites. Equally wonderful and heartbreaking.
I love it when dark, brooding and sadistic fictional guys have a soft spot for fashion.
Prince Wrath: "I don't coddle. I wonât comfort. Or tend to your wounds. Emotional or otherwise."
Prince Wrath: *takes the viperidae venom to his body to save Emilia's life* *takes care of her after the attack* *saves her from the aper demon* *plays nurse for too weeks after Emilia's encounter with Lust* *prepares elemental bath for her and adds her favorite flowers* *nurses her back to health when she suffers from hypothermia (twice)* *feeds her chocolate-covered berries with whipped cream when she's drunk*
Me: Liar.

âIâm not going back.â (A Court of Mist and Fury, chapter 13, Feyre waking up in the Night Court after being locked in and rescued from Tamlinâs manor.)
how many followers do i need to get random asks god be nosy u little shits ask me about my personal life this is fucking boring getting nothing
Forever mad that I won't have an enemies to lovers arc with both of us trying to solve a murder mystery in the foggy streets of London or nobody will call me their investment or nobody will help me overcome my fear of an open sky while telling me stories at night to distract me or someone making me their queen and give up their kingdom for me or save me from the sacrifice I'm about to commit and take me to the adventures I always craved for.

and oh THIS IS NOT A SPOILER.
I wish I was a Jane Austen character so that instead of going insane, i could've gone to London with my aunt and uncle when things got rough.
I love the @edwardsrealgf theory about how it wouldâve made so much more sense for Feyre to fall for Lucien instead of Tamlin in ACOTAR. But what if -- and hear me out on this -- she fell for Lucien in ACOMAF instead?
Imagine an ACOMAF where Lucien started fighting back against Tamlinâs treatment of Feyre from the beginning, his snarking muted as he watched the women heâd fallen in love with prepare to marry his best friend. Only to be ârescuedâ by the terrifying High Lord of the Night Court. What if Lucien showed up at the Night Court to ask Feyre if she wanted to come home to Spring? If instead of being caught between a bargain and a traumatized High Lord, she was given a chance to choose her destiny?
And what if Feyre really saw the deepening of Lucien's character from the first time she met him? If she fell in love with his loyalty and kindness, the snark and humor and immaculate fashion? If Lucien saw how much more there was to her than the headstrong human woman he first met, more than the trauma of Under the Mountain, but a strong, kind, and resilient person? If she recognized the unselfish care he gave her even when it meant Amaranthaâs wrath? If we, the readers, were able to see the softness behind the snark in Lucien a little sooner? If they helped each other realize that they both had greater destinies than either one could have anticipated?
Instead of Feyre going from one court to another, and Lucien becoming little more than Tamlinâs lackey, what if they built their own safe place in Prythian, away from the secrets and court politicking, where it was okay to be soft and uncertain, human or lesser faerie or High Fae? These are two characters who up to this point have never been at home in their lives. What if, out of nothing but the rubble of their former lives, they made that home together?
Rather than a battle of the alpha males over Feyre, a Feycien ACOMAF could have shown two characters helping each other heal, recognizing their respective greatness, and falling in love little by little.
Not that I donât love ACOMAF⌠but Iâm not going to lie, the Feycien alternative is really compelling. And yes, I know there are a lot of similarities to what I'm describing and ACOMAF, which only goes to show how much Lucien was wasted in that book.
Definitely is so interesting. Either way, Lucien deserved so much better in each book. He was always a last thought it seemed writing-wise
