Anyone else noticing theres no websites anymore. You never go to website.com anymore its always some bullshit like "go to the smeeple app store and download the flubi app" i dont want toooo what ever happened to websites. I do not like it
i hate being sick i genuinely can NOT do this anymore
Silly me, I almost forgot—this is the whole point. Book that trip. Order the extra appetizers. Laugh a little louder. Dance a little freer. Never stop learning. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Stop waiting for perfection or permission, neither make a difference. Look with wonder. Lead with love. Lean in with excitement for what's next.
- cherry wine is about domestic abuse. it’s now called a cute proposal song.
- too sweet is about seizing the day and ignoring healthy habits in favor of having more fun with unhealthy ones. he’s actively critical of himself in the song. it’s now called a song about thinking you’re superior for drinking black coffee.
- take me to church is about worship as a metaphor for sex. it’s called a religious song.
- eat your young is a song about war and political greed. it’s called a song about sex.
- now, the strongly political message of nobody’s soldier is being ignored in favor of calling it a metaphor for hozier’s relationship with his fans.
when are we going to stop simplifying hozier’s music down to cute little cottagecore bogman forest music? maybe you dont want to hear this but i don’t care. quit listening to hozier for the aesthetic. there’s a reason why empire now, foreigner’s god, butchered tongue, etc. songs with unignorable political messages are among his least popular songs.

Moonlit Night at Sea

currently working a dead end job. i had different goals, different plans. get me out of this place.
Place, place, sense of space. No room, no money. No place for You! why do artists, writers subject themselves to this life?
The barista, tall, young- full of life- hands me my breakfast sandwich willingly. Her almond eyes dart across my journal, my jacket, my hair. “Here you are, sir..” I manage a smile, putting my pen down to take the meal. The bacon was crispy, the eggs runny. But I will take what I can get. The barista walks away after giving me a soft smile.
Christ. 11am. I’ll take what I can get.
maybe i was born to be a writer
"College is a place of liberal indoctrination."
And what possible motive would liberals have to put their indoctrination behind one of the biggest paywalls to have ever existed?
College is often the first time that someone regularly interacts with a diverse crowd. College is often the first time that someone is encouraged to think for themselves instead of blindly trusting their parents.
They're not being indoctrinated to be liberal. They were previously indoctrinated to be conservative and are now being freed from that.
“There’s no secret to it. The trick is just to live.”
this is what you were made for.
