I’ve heard of Cold Light chasers.

They try to hunt down Cold Lights based on statistical models and things.

Given how randomly they fall, I suspect they have significantly more money than sense.

It’s like the people who drive after tornadoes.

But dumber.

Cold Light chasers probably end up seeing more tornadoes than Lights.

On the other hand, I’ve seen some pretty professional-looking videos of Cold Lights, so someone must be getting lucky.

I could do a very thorough playthrough of it that shows off all the secrets, but that kind of defeats the purpose of it, doesn’t it? I’m fine with giving people pointers, but just straight-up telling everyone about all the cool obscure stuff seems against the spirit of the game.

So I’ve been replaying EH again, only this time I’m taking notes. Very careful notes. I think I may have even found easter eggs hinting at some stuff from their next game. A jetpack? Awesome! How much?

Well you’ll have to talk to my employer but somewhere in the range of $300k. And they’re still just out of beta prototype level so we may require you to do some testing. And have proper clearances for stuff. But if you help with development, we may give you a special deal.

I am not sure I should really be posting this here but I don’t think my boss really cares. We talked about developing them last year but then other contracts got in the way. But it turns out there WAS a client who wanted some jetpacks, so that was cool! And based on our contract we were able to keep most of the patent rights, so we’ll hopefully be putting it on the mass market at some point soon.
