Nora nods (despite the fact that the girl probably can’t see her), dumbfounded. 

She swiftly makes her way to the girl, lifts up the large suitcase and gently places it on the top empty shelf. She takes a few steps back and makes sure that it is secured from dropping before quietly returning to her seat.

Nora resumes to stare intensely at the stranger.

Piera stared back in complete silence for a few seconds, before…

She was getting nervous; beads of sweat began to form alongside her temples.

she introduced herself, ecstatic that she got a response. “Hey, you’re sweating! Are you hot?”

"Here, I’ll let some fresh air in," Piera moved to open the window, when a loud boom resounded through her ears. "?!"

“Huh?” She questions, staggering to her feet and slightly swaying as she rushes towards the window (probably due to lack of sleep.) She remains calm as she witnesses an explosion occurring at the bridge, entirely destroying a large part of it.

She mutters.

Piera quickly swiveled her head to look at Nora, a look of pure panic on her face. "What do we do now?? Do you think anyone was hurt? What if there's another one coming?"

Teadoir just came out of the train’s restroom with red eyes. Which seemed that he was crying earlier. Even with his eyes were pretty sore he gives a big smile as he tries to find a vacant room. He’ll probably be okay?

Piera roughly wipes at her eyes. It was way too soon for this, not to mention, way too late to go back home, especially since she’s gotten this far; freedom was so close, she could almost taste it. She heaves a huge sigh and looks out her cabin door into the hallway— oh Goddess, did I just make eye contact with that guy with the backpack?

Teadoir was passing by the corridors and he found an open door. He couldn’t help but peek if there’d be people inside. But inside was a girl who was wiping her tears perhaps? Well her eyes were all red so it must be that. He ended up eyeing the girl, peeking from outside the room. Well until the girl’s eyes turned to him.

'Well, this is awkward.'

Well now he should probably go or try to cheer her up? He tried to think of these two options. After seconds of standing there, awkwardly, he decided to chose the latter.

He shouted across the room with that big smile on his face. The volume of his voice may have disturbed a bunch of people around them.

Piera flinched a bit (more like a lot) as the boy’s loud voice resonated throughout the cabin and pierced her ears. Upon noticing that his eyes were red and swollen too,

she stuttered; she tripped over her words, still not recovered from the shock. “Uh… would you like to sit with me?” she invited him, not exactly sure what to do in this situation.

He was planning to leave after giving an ‘encouragement’ that make your ears hurt. But being invited to sit with her would be rude to decline. “Uh…sure!”

Accepting the invitation he removes his bag and takes a seat opposite to the girl. 

Ok, what to do to end an awkward atmosphere between both people who just cried? To start a conversation of course! First, he should introduce himself though. “I’m Teadoir. What’s your name?”

She stuck out her hand. “My name’s Piera. Nice to meet you, Teadoir!” she gave the happiest smile she could muster at the moment. “So… what brings you to this train?”

It has been a few minutes after the announcement; Nora nervously squeezes Odo (her plushie) as she observes the beautiful scenery outside her window. She is lost in thoughts, wondering about how her new life in Toffee Town will work out. To be frank though, Nora feels quite relieved after entering the train. It feels as though all the burdens of the past have been left behind and she can finally embark a (hopefully not adventurous) journey to a new life.

Piera lugs her suitcase around train, exploring and absorbing the grandeur of it all. Slowly becoming aware that she’s getting in the way of other passengers, she quickly enters the nearest cabin she can find. Inside sits a girl with short, purple hair, staring pensively out of the train’s window. “Is it okay if I sit here?” Piera asks, although she’s practically already settled down.

“Oh…”

Nora turns to the sudden noise to see a new face sitting across from her. “Um…” She slightly hesitates as she watches the girl settle. She pauses for a moment to consider the question before replying,

“Sure.” 

She continues to stare wonderingly at the stranger.

Piera makes herself comfortable in the (surprisingly) spacious cabin. Humming, while incredibly out of tune, she adjusts her suitcase so it is on the floor, but at the same time, not in the way of her new cabin-mate.

She felt the girl’s eyes on her, and looked up.

"Hm? Is there something on my face?"

“No. I-”

Nora pauses and quickly looks away. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to stare.” She was not used to strangers – people in general – so communicating with the girl was a bit of a challenge. She expected to sit alone in the cabin and did not prepare herself to meet anyone new. She returned her gaze to the window as though to dismiss the moment. 

Nora quickly turns back to the girl and looks at her suitcase that was carefully put to the side, probably as an attempt to move it out of the way.

“Luggage can go under your seat.” She states pointing at the girl’s suitcase.

“Or above it… I can help if you need it.” She adds.

"Ah, thank you very much for offering, but I can do it," she flashes a smile at the girl as she effortlessly lifts up her suitcase that’s more than half her size. Until..

… she realizes that she’s way too short to reach the top to put her suitcase down. She stands there frozen for a few seconds, until she comes to the conclusion that there’s no way that she could reach that height. “Actually.. does your offer still stand?” she asked, sheepishly
