Nigel and Adam were once lovers.
Nigel truly loved his gorgeous Adam, and Adam loved Nigel from his heart.
But their relationship had to come to an end.
Nigel needed to hide himself from the dangerous “co-workers”, and he didn’t want Adam to be hurt. He wanted to protect Adam, keep him safe, out of his dark underground world.
He said to Adam that they can’t stay together anymore, and can’t see eachother, forever.
He thought it was the best thing to say, beacuse if he told Adam he would come back some day, Adam will just wait and wait for him, forever and ever.
And Nigel was thinking that he might die. He didn’t want his precious Adam to just wait, alone, for the rest of his life. He was very possessive, yes, but at the same time, he wanted Adam to be happy. If he had to die, he wanted to think that at least Adam was living a happy life.
So the heartbreaking parting came, and Adam cried, asking why, but all Nigel could say was, I want you to be safe, my love.
He didn’t want Adam to know any detail about what he’s involved in, for Adam’s safety.
Because of the deep true love Nigel had for Adam, he had to go, breaking his own heart to pieces.
After few years alone, one day, Adam meets a man, whose face is just like Nigel, but at the same time, so different from Nigel.
Adam couldn’ resist the urge to talk to this man, Lucas, and their relationship starts as a friend.
Lucas, who has been falsely charged with a crime, had an emotional wound which wouldn’t heal.
He moved to America for a new life, but he still couldn’t trust people from the heart becuase of his trauma.
At first, he couldn’t figure out why this man named Adam started talking to him at the park.
He asked Lucas if he likes stars or racoons.
Lucas wasn’t that fond of both things, but for some reason, he couldn’t say no.
The smile on Adam’s face, when Lucas said “Yes”, made Lucas feel warm. He didn’t know why, but it was a fact.
Lucas gradually found out about Adam’s asperger, and came to know that he can not lie. Adam only tells the truth, no matter what.
The honesty of Adam made Lucas, a man who once got crushed by a lie, feel relieved.
Spending time with Adam became a peaceful hartwarming time for Lucas.
He started to think he wants to stay with Adam as long as he could, and Adam felt the same.
The catalyst of their relationship was the resemblance between Nigel and Lucas, but the reason Adam spent time with Lucas was because he was Lucas.
Lucas, who was gentle, understood Adam’s uniqueness, and admired Adam’s honesty which people sometimes dismissed and refused.
The more they spent time with eachother, the more they felt warmth and adoration.
Adam couldn’t lie to his feelings, and told Lucas that he thinks he loves him, and at the same time, told Lucas about Nigel.
Lucas felt uneasy, thought that maybe Adam had feelings for him because he just looks like his ex.
Adam tried hard to explain his feelings, that he loved Lucas because he is Lucas. He didn’t want to lose his love, again.
His words gradually sank into Lucas’s heart, and made Lucas smile.
Lucas and Adam started to live together, a happy, peaceful life, full of love and tenderness.
But one day, a man with a tatoo on his neck appeared in front of Lucas and Adam.
