Homemade.

Made "Mini Honey Lime Strawberry Pies" today. Very tart, but very delicious! I should have used a lemon (instead of lime) and orange peel would have been great. I adapted it from something I saw on the food channel.

8 medium strawberries diced Juice from 1 lime (or 1/2 lemon) Zest of 1/2 orange 2 tablespoons honey Thickening agent like Arrowroot Store bought pie dough 1 egg - whisked

Mix the first 5 ingredients together in bowl. Cut 3" rounds out of the pie dough (about 8) and 2" rounds (also 8). Place the 3" rounds in a mini muffin pan (press down) fill with strawberry mixture. Brush egg on the edges, and top with the 2" round. Fork edges to seal - and brush with egg. Cut slit on top. Bake at 350 for about 20 or so minutes. (I wasn't really paying attention! Ah!)
