==> Move home.
You don't know when it happened or why. Chances are you would never find out, really.
Just that Broen was gone. No feelings being passed through your necklace, just emptiness like the connection was lost. Their wasn't even a letter to say he passed away. No texts or messages back. Nothing. Just the empty feeling drowning your heart like part of it was missing. The necklace had to come off, you couldn't handle it any more.
Cleaning up the house was the hardest part, packing away your life with someone you love. Putting the boxes into storage, just in case. Just in case....
You wrote out a note, leaving it on the table. Turning off the water and unplugging everything. Anything worth anything had been moved to storage, large items like the table had been left.
With Davie in your arms you set the alarm and locked the door. Your baby was crying, for his daddy and how he couldn't leave because then how would daddy find you? It took all you had to not drop to the ground and cry into his arm, to start sobbing and never stop.
How could you do that though? When your little baby needed you... When you were all Davie had and you had to be strong.
No more flashstepdj. No more sending sexy pictures. No more movie nights curled into someone's arms, or making a fancy dinner for your boys.
Just going home to your parents, with your baby, and trying to heal. Trying to heal again.
You will never love again, not like that. But you would always love Davie, and you were going to be the best daddy, the best mommy, and raise him with love and acceptance.
Maybe he could grow up and teach you it is okay.
