Please Help An Unemployed Trans Woman

I’m so sorry that I’m still in a position where I have to ask for help. But I am. I’m an unemployed transgender woman living in wildly conservative Orange County, CA. I had to leave my job because of consistent transphobic and sexual harassment. It’s a hard and stressful time, and I’m so broke that I don’t know how I’m going to keep paying for groceries, let alone medication, therapy for cptsd and depression, paying off the phone I had to buy after my old one stopped charging. I am hoping to raise $500 but literally any little bit you can give helps. Thank you all so much.

Okie so felt like writing some kinda little update for those who care and just well for me too!

TL:DR I'm doing better and been going outside and taking care of myself!!!! :O

I have been doing so much better recently! Like soooooooooo much better and it's just from going out and socialising properly! (Wow what a surprise that this helps with mental health who'd of thunk it lol)

I've been going rock climbing with a trans climbing group every other week and it's been so lovely having a space I can exercise and do an activity I love with people who are so welcoming and actually seem glad to have me around! Also definitely has been improving my overall health and fitness which is wonderful!

I've been going to more music events on my own as well both just bands I know and love and other more specifically queer punk events and god damn! Just the acceptance from strangers and random people I've been able to strike up conversations with has been so wonderful!!!! I really feel like I can just kinda exist in the community around me and in the spaces I want to exist in!

The world seems bleak right now for our community and over the summer that was really kicking my ass particularly when combined with the fact that the people I considered my closest in person friends barely seemed to have any interest in interacting with me or checking how I was doing :c (all very aware that I was probably struggling a lot having only recently come out and going through a break up among other things) so being able to go out and be able to make these new connections and not feel like such an outcast has been so so wonderful!!!

I would also like to thank my online friends (some of you are probably reading this hiiiiiii!!!!!!!) who helped stop me going completely crazy and becoming totally isolated. They have also been so amazing for making me realise I may not be quite as unlikeable and unbearable as my brain often tells me I am!

Community is out there for those who are willing to look and I seem to be slowly finding mine and god damn does it feel good!!!!
