They’re both amazing, it’s just that I’m listening to the anime one at the time I’m posting this. - I think Reina Ueda really did a great job with this song. Well, she obviously did a great job with all those songs, but this one gets stuck in my head more than the others, and I cannot find any other reason than the vocals being amazing - more than the rest (except Distorted Happiness, let’s get real this song is a masterpiece.) - Can’t really talk about this song without spoiling stuff so I’ll leave it at that for now.

I’m fat and I hate being fat, so I’m doing something about it. I thought it would be really hard - I’m down to 1200 calories a day and going to the gym three times a week and the weight is dropping off.

Lol this is my point. I literally quoted this from a different “DOWN WITH BODY POSITIVITY” blog and somehow I’m insecure for saying something someone ACTUALLY said. Its totally OK to attack the entire body positive community, but not for them to retaliate. I couldn’t possibly just be angry about the hatred that people exhibit, its just that I’m an immature butthurt fatty who wants to brainwash people to eat cake. This is body positivity hatred logic. WHY can people not seek health without hating people who aren’t? I don’t go talking shit to the fetishist community who actually does try and get fatter. They wanna kill themselves? Let them. I’ve struggled with this my whole life. Now that I stopped hating myself, I’m able to nourish my body because I love it. Eat right, do yoga, sit ups, etc. But not because I hate myself. Not because I hate my fat. I just want to feel better. Why do people feel the need to promote hatred for one’s body unless its a certain way?

You know how there have been so many studies that disproved the connection between vaccines and autism? Well, there are even more studies that have shown that healthy obesity does not exist and that the toxic fat on your organs is literally killing you?

This new research brought together the results of 12 studies into the effects of different weight and metabolic health factors on risk of cardiovascular disease and mortality.

A key finding was that people who were obese yet metabolically healthy still had an increased risk of premature death compared to metabolically healthy people who had a recommended weight. A similar increase in risk was not seen in overweight metabolically healthy people – so it may be possible to be “a little bit fat and fit”. It could also be the case that some people in this category have a higher BMI due to muscle bulk rather than fat. This was a meta-analysis of studies from 1950 to 2012 which aimed to see what effect BMI and metabolic status had on the likelihood of cardiovascular disease. Out of 1,443 studies identified, 12 studies met the inclusion criteria, covering 72,567 people.

What are common health consequences of overweight and obesity? Raised BMI is a major risk factor for noncommunicable diseases such as:

cardiovascular diseases (mainly heart disease and stroke), which were the leading cause of death in 2012;

diabetes;

musculoskeletal disorders (especially osteoarthritis - a highly disabling degenerative disease of the joints);

some cancers (endometrial, breast, and colon).

The risk for these noncommunicable diseases increases, with an increase in BMI. Childhood obesity is associated with a higher chance of obesity, premature death and disability in adulthood.

You can be healthy if you’re fit and a bit overweight, but being healthy and obese is pretty much impossible on the long run. Just like a smoker, an obese person might be relatively healthy, but you’re never be as healthy as a thin person.

You spreading “body acceptance” in the form of “you being 15 and weighing 250lbs is no biggie, you’re perfect and healthy just like you are” is a big fat fucking lie on the same level as the ones anti-vaxxers spread and is even more dangerous. Keep saying how happy you are with your body, I don’t care, but don’t pretend obesity and overweight are healthy, because all the evidence collected in decades of medical research shows otherwise.
