(1) Hello! So at my previous high school, there were about 4 options for students. From lowest to highest is 1. Locally developed (not really an option but for those who actually NEED it) 2. Applied, 3. Academic and 4. Enhanced. So pretty much, the smartest are Enhanced and their work is alot harder than the rest. Academic is somewhat in the middle, it's not easy but it's not super difficult either. So i was just wondering, is there the same thing at Eric hamber?
At Hamber, it's not quite the same. If a student wants to be challenged, they are either in a Challenge course which starts in grade 8, or if you talk to your counsellor, you might be able to skip a grade for a certain course. As you get older, you can take APs for university. Other than that, there really isn't a "ranking". If you find yourself not doing very well, you can either repeat that course in the next year, or take an easier version of that (but only for subjects such as math).
Just out of curiosity, what school did you previously go to?
