I finished the first Lockwood and co book last month and managed to get my hands on the second so have a very rushed doodle of the trio

I’ll have to better capture Lucy’s personality next time, was trying to convey the idea of her being able to hear the ghost behind them but I feel like she just looks timid🤷🏽‍♀️ I took a lot of creative liberty with this in general

To continue on my mystery gang redesigns, here’s more of my version of Velma

Here’s my pitch for a velma centred show (part of me is like this is satire and another part of me is like why wasn’t I hired to make an hbo animated series with velma as a main character)

Background, this is still a man origin story and velmas still the main character

it would begin with Velma giving Scooby consciousness/the ability to speak by accident when experimenting with a mystery substance she found. She’s trying to keep Scooby away from people, especially shaggy, while she tries to figure out how to change him back into a normal dog. and with many almost escapes from scooby, she decides to enlist the help of Fred (trap extraordinaire) who immediately lets slip the whole ‘Velma made a dog who can speak’ thing to daphne.

Whilst trying to keep scooby trapped they stumble on a larger mystery, maybe connected to the original mystery substance👀, expect the main witness to a major crux of the mystery is Shaggy. Whilst trying to interview shaggy (who is very concerned for his lost dog), he finds out that they were the ones with scooby, he takes the whole kidnapping thing pretty well because he’s dealing with the fact his dog can speak now. They bond over their shared love of food and good vibes. Now the group is formed they set off to tackle this larger mystery.

Lmao ignore how I drew scooby, dogs are difficult,, anyway I don’t have access to that new Velma show but I do very much enjoy Scooby doo and I feel like there’s so much that could have been done with the show that it seems like they didn’t do but like I said I haven’t watched it

Hope you like my versions, i do want to add Fred but my brains a little frizzled and I pretty much imagine him as a white dude lol, might reblog this with a doodle of him if I get around to it

So I’ve finally finished the rigel black chronicles up to where it is left off at currently and tbh I have a bad habit of not really keeping up with descriptions of characters as i read so this is how I’ve been imagining Rigel (I’m pretty sure he has short hair but I liked imaging him having hair closer to sirius’ that he can put up to do potions)

Also I tried to make this drawing androgynous but it feel I draw androgyny better when it’s unintentional lol

Criccieth Castle

Most castles in North Wales were built by the English as places for the gentry to exist and potentially repress any rebellions from the local people. Criccieth is uniquely both Welsh and English, having been built by the Welsh Princes before being captured by King Edward 1 who altered existing structures and added new elements.

The castle was partially destroyed in the 15th century and now sits as a dramatic ruin against often moody skies. Though I was lucky to go on a day where the weather was kind⛅️
