“Yeah… I- I didn’t tell anyone because I.. I was ashamed,” she admitted, staring down at her fingers. The corner of her lips formed a small smile after hearing Aria’s rather detailed curse at her ex, quite grateful she had someone like her to say all the things Liv wanted but couldn’t master out. “He knew I was Eric’s ex. He knew he hurt me and when he met me - he pretended like he didn’t know who I was. It was a joke. I know, it was - I bet both of them are laughing behind my back as we speak,” she said in quite the bitter tone of voice, leaning against her friend. “Thanks for being here..”

“You shouldn’t be ashamed.” she said smoothly, rubbing the girls back gently. “He should be, for stooping so low.” She gave the girl a frank look and a tiny smile passed her lips. “Do you want me to hurt her?” She offered, raising an eyebrow at the following words about this new boy. “It was a joke? Sounds like the worst joke i’ve ever heard of. The funny part is going to come when he comes face to face with me.”  She held her friend close, trying to calm her. “They’re not laughing behind your back Liv, and if they are then they’re more pathetic than even I thought they were capable of. Come on, you’re fucking Liv, you’re a blond bombshell. Don’t let a fucking boy bring you down.”

“ Ah, I see. I was quite the opposite. I lived with my mother and practically raised my siblings. I couldn’t imagine not being anywhere near them, honestly. ”

“I raised myself most of the time, well from fourteen onwards. I have a sister who i miss more than basically anything in the world, but we don’t have the money for flights so we make do with skype.”

“Nah don’t be sorry. I lived with my dad back there anyway so not seeing my mum is nothing new. And my dad was always away so not seeing him is nothing new.” She shrugged.

“Nah mate, my family are in Ireland. It’s a fucking long expensive flight for a holiday we don’t even have.”
