âI think this little celebration is a nice way to relax. A lot of people were really upset when they first got here, and now, they know they canât leave.â
âYeah...I donât know if thatâs going to be relaxing or a way to rob people of their hope.â
oldmcgnataâ:
âof course.â jake said. âjust go straight like three roads, the take a right at the next street, then go down five more streets.. just joking, itâs right next door.â
Eirick blushed, having been panicking in his head a little over the lengthy instructions.  âReally? Thank you so much. I feel like Iâve been wandering around forever.â

âYeah, my dad owns that club right over there.â Lucas said, pointing to LUX. âFree drinks, good companyâŠâ
â...is that a good thing or a bad thing? Drinks may be free, but itâs not like you can take a date there or something for fear of making out with someone in front of your father. It looks like a cool place though.â
warofheartmusesâ:
âNot yet but I am working on it. Iâve only been here for like a week though.â
âWorking on it is good. I am too but Iâm getting nowhere. I know a lot about dragons and next to nothing about magic. so Iâm feeling pretty useless.â
âUm, hey! Could you point me in the direction of the library? I seem to have gotten turned around.â
@mcgnata (any)
âHas anyone figured anything out about this..incident? Magic? Or whatever it is that brought us here?â Â

âI get to be chief?â He asked, eyes wide. âWoah.â Hiccup chuckled. âI understand. I know it can really⊠Throw people off. Especially you when you know what Iâm like, but I donât know what Iâm like then. That⊠Was meant to be less confusing, but I ramble a lot. Which you⊠Obviously know.â
Eirick smiled a bit and nodded.  âYeah. Youâre a fantastic one, if I donât say so myself.â He smiled a bit at the man before listening to his words, the smile softening but his brow furrowed a bit in thought.  âNo no, it made sense....which, I..should we be talking? Or will this mess up our futures in some way? Or maybe Iâm from an alternate future and you donât even ever have me?â He bit his lip, falling silent as he thought before he remembered he was mid conversation.  âSorry. You ramble, I get lost in thought.â
omorfiaismsâ:
âMaybe youâre from a different time. Well, itâs not maybe⊠You are.â He said. âYou get the awkwardness from me.â Hiccup said. âSorry about that.â He sighed. âI know it must be⊠Strange for you.â
âIâm definitely from a different time..are you even chief yet? Before you came here?â Eirick smiled a bit at the admission, nodding. âI know..but I donât mind it. I..of your kids, I like to think I ended up more like you. And itâs not your fault, itâs just...I miss you. And itâs strange now being able to talk to you but..not you. If that makes sense?â
mcgnataâ:
maria looked at her textbook trying to concentrate on it. âi feel like iâve studied enough for today.â
@nicodi-angelo (or any blog)
âIf youâre staring at it that hard it looks like your mind is not going to intake anymore information at this point. You should take a break.â
omorfiaismsâ:
âI mean it is confusing, but⊠Things happen I guess.â Hiccup said. âI guess it can get awkward since Iâm not exactly⊠In a relationship with whoever your mother is.â
âIâm not too worried about it. Iâm alive somehow I guess.â Eirick smiled a little and looked down.  âItâs just weird..looking at you and knowing you donât know me. I didnât mean to react as awkwardly as I did.â
omorfiaismsâ:
His eyes widened at that. âI⊠Have a son?â He asked. Now this shocked him. He was still young, in his opinion. In his world, he was also young and training Toothless. âWoah, this is⊠This is something, huh?â
âAnd a daughter, though Iâve not seen her here yet.â Eirick nodded and looked at his feet, swallowing thickly.  âSorry. Itâs a lot to.. drop on you. But I didnât want to be weird and then just confuse you more.â
omorfiaismsâ:
âYou donât think? Well, you never know unless you try!â Hiccup reassured with a dopey grin he always had. He shifted slightly so he were sat down, taking the edge off is leg. Having a prosthetic was pretty hard to deal with sometimes. âFreak me out? Why me in particular?â
Eirick was quiet for a moment before he finally spoke, deciding to just give up and deal with whatever happened.  âBecause youâre Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the third, chief of our clan and the first man to ride a dragon, your Night Fury Toothless.  You also happen to be my father.â
omorfiaismsâ:
âAre⊠Are you okay?â He asked, seeing how upset and distressed he seemed. Hiccups didnât want to push the other to talk to him, but if he wanted someone to talk to, he could. âIâm a pretty good listener if youâd like to talk.â
âNot really, but thereâs nothing to be done about it I donât think.â Eirick quickly wiped under his eyes, looking back at the other.  âItâs...complicated. And would just freak you out, so itâs probably not best.â
omorfiaismsâ:
âI⊠You donât have to go if you donât want to.â He said. âWe can get some treats and toys for the dog!â Hiccup smiled, looking down to Eirick. He didnât even know his own son.
Gods it hurt just looking at him, the man he looked up to and adored looking back at him without a shred of recognition. Tears welled in his eyes, unable to stop them and he shook his head before turning to leave. âN-No, I should...I need to go.â
omorfiaismsâ:
âI donât think it does. I call dibs!â Hiccup said and hugged the dog on the floor by him. This mustâve looked so odd to someone who wasnât from his universe. âAre you okay?â Hiccup asked the other, expression softening.
Eirick smiled faintly, reminded of when he saw his father with Toothless for the first time, though he took a step back. It was weird, seeing someone so familiar and yet knowing they didnât know you.  âYeah, i...I should go.â
omorfiaismsâ:
ââŠCan I have it?â He asked. Itâs not a dragon of course, but itâd do. âDad? Where?â Hiccup asked, looking around quickly. He didnât think his dad would be here. God, this would be scary.
âIf it doesnât have a collar? I..â  Eirick continued staring at the other, shaking his head a little. âNo, youâre...â Quickly cutting himself off, he realized Hiccup was much too young to have fathered him, and didnât know he even existed. So he shook his head. âI, uh, nevermind. Mustâve been mistaken.â
