• Mighty doesn't even hesitate.
• He throws himself in front of you before anyone can stop him.
• One second he's standing beside you, the next he's hitting the ground.
• And I just KNOW your heart would completely stop at that moment.
• You didn't seem to care that the battle was still happening around you. You didn't care about the shouting or the fighting. All you see is Mighty lying there injured.

Also tornadoes are kinda impossible to catch which is VERY Sonic-coded.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ Shadow as a THUNDERSTORM ?? Absolutely. He’s not constant destruction like a tornado. He’s the kind of weather where the sky gets dark and everyone immediately feels tense 😭 Like the air changes when he walks in. And then BOOM lightning strike. Also thunderstorms feel emotional and a little dramatic.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ Silver gives me SOLAR FLARE energy. He’s literally from the future so I wanted something more cosmic for him 🤭 Solar flares are beautiful but also dangerous because one wrong burst can wipe out entire systems. That’s Silver. Sweet intentions, catastrophic outcomes sometimes.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ Knuckles is an EARTHQUAKE because he’s strong, grounded, stubborn, and honestly feels ancient in a way?? Like tectonic plates 😭 He’s usually calm until somebody messes with the Master Emerald and then suddenly the entire continent is shaking.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ Espio feels like POISONOUS FOG to me. Quiet, sneaky, hard to detect. You don’t even realize the danger is there until it’s already surrounding you. Also ninja + smoke bomb vibes. He’s the type of disaster that kills you silently.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ Mighty is an AVALANCHE because he’s gentle most of the time but once he gets going?? It’s OVER 😭 Avalanches also start from pressure building up over time which weirdly fits him really well.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ Scourge is literally WILDFIRE energy. Fast-spreading chaos. Cocky. Hard to control. The type of disaster that gets worse because it ENJOYS being destructive 💀 Also green flames in my brain. Idk. He’d absolutely laugh while the world burns behind him. 😂

Dead silent.
The kind that swallowed every crunch of your footsteps whole. The kind that made the hairs on your arms rise as the trees twisted overhead like skeletal fingers trying to cage the sky itself.
You ran anyway.
Branches scraped your skin. Your lungs burned. Tears blurred your vision until the world became nothing but shadows and moonlight smeared across black bark.
But none of it mattered.
Nothing mattered anymore.
Not the aching emptiness in your chest. Not the sleepless nights. Not the way every morning felt heavier than the last. You were tired.
So tired.
The black lake finally came into view through the trees.
Still.
Endless.
Its water looked wrong somehow. Too dark. Too thick. Like liquid ink instead of water. Moonlight did not reflect off its surface. It disappeared into it.
People whispered about this place.
Said those who wanted to die came here.
And the lake accepted them.
You stumbled toward the shore, breathing hard. Your shoes sank slightly into the wet earth as cold wind curled around your body like unseen hands welcoming you home.

Fear crawled up your spine instantly, icy and sharp.
But beneath that fear…

He stared at you with eerie stillness. Like a predator studying something wounded.

The air itself felt heavier around him. Suffocating. The shadows near your feet stretched toward him as though desperate to return to their master.

Black liquid slid from his claws.
Then he spoke.
His voice was smooth and hollow all at once. Like echoes whispering inside a cave.
“Do you wish to become one with the dark, mortal?”
The question settled deep inside your chest.
Not cruel.

Simply asked.
Your lips parted but no sound came out.
Mephiles tilted his head slightly.
“You came here seeking death,” he continued quietly. “I can feel it dripping from your soul.”
Heat flooded your eyes again.

Energy is your vitality (Sun) and when you have a Mercury ruled sign (Virgo, Gemini) in the sun placement, the negative sides such manipulation, deceit/deception will be most prominent and used.

Cancer is ruled by the moon and when we take this into consideration, Metal Sonic’s head from the back is of a crescent moon. His stomach is constructed as a hollow circle. Both shapes are correlated to the different phases of the moon. Lastly, Cancer is represented with the crab. The entire structure of Metal Sonic’s anatomy is hard, and shell-like. (Arms and hands are similar to a claw) His ascendant squaring (harsh aspect) Jupiter would manifest someone who overestimates their own persona while also going through challenges to expand their abilities.

He instinctively believes he is the real Sonic without no question. That is where his optimism stems from.
MEPHILES — SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 06 (2006)

SUN IN SCORPIO Mephiles' backstory has similarities to the birth of Hades, who is the mythological god that Pluto is based from (ruler of Scorpio). Hades was swallowed by his own father, Cronus, and Mephiles was spilt from Solaris (while he is not his "father", he does share his mind and part of his fragment.) However, when we look at the identity of Mephiles, he embodies the "god of the underworld" through destruction that is associated heavily with plutonic themes. One of his main goals in Sonic 06 was to consume his connection with Iblis.
*He has a 3rd house stellium in Scorpio that not only showcases his intense, and power ability of manipulation (through Silver and Blaze) but also his intelligence. This also manifests in the game's use of time traveling which is associated through the traits of the 3rd house: short distance travel. I will also argue that this also connects, if we look at this chart in the perspective of Silver The Hedgehog, (since they both debuted in the same game) with his use of telekinesis. Again, another expression of Mercury since it is used with the mind and short distant travel.
ASC IN VIRGO The appearance of Virgo is known to use neutral tones due to the earthy traits of the sign: greens, browns, etc. Mephiles' color scheme is dark but rather devoid of color, making it neutral to the eye. Lastly, he also has green eyes. Interesting enough, his ascendent is the opposite sign of Shadow The Hedgehog's (Pisces ascendent). The color scheme of Shadow's is inverted.
MOON IN VIRGO This is a very mercurial chart but regardless, Moon in Virgo would solidified the aspects of intelligence, and mind/emotional manipulation that Mephiles have used and expressed in the game. Moon squaring Jupiter is a nasty aspect that would exacerbate the traits of the moon in the worst ways possible, which led to Sonic's death in the game. (Plutonic themes play heavily in this chart in which one of them is death)
*Bonus note, this chart definitely predicted the failure of Sonic 06 due to the significant amount of harsh aspects to the personal planets. (not to mention that Venus was in its detriment in Scorpio, which could explain the controversy between Sonic and Elise's relationship.) And most specifically, Mercury being in retrograde when the game was released. A malefic planet in the 3rd house (stellium) contributed to the technical issues the game dealt with. I won't go into more detail because I don't want to bore anyone but lastly I will mention that Pluto was squaring the North Node. This aspect was in the chart of Sam Levinson's failed HBO show, The Idol, which I reviewed a month ago. To see this in this chart definitely solidified the significance of a malefic planet squaring an angle. The north node, in modern astrology, is your fate and destiny in life, and for a transformative and destructive planet, like Pluto, to be on there will reflect an impact on the reputation of the person/media/event etc.
INFINITE — SONIC FORCES: LOOMING SHADOW

SUN IN SCORPIO Like with Mephiles, they both share identity similarities with the nature of Scorpio. Obsessively driven to use power and control as a way to defeat others for the sake of their own ego.
ASC IN LEO Leo in the ascendant would express the physical traits of long hair due to the relations of a Lion. Infinite has a mane of long white hair. His apparent inferiority complex is manifested in this chart with not just the Sun’s sign of Leo in the Asc but also having it harshly aspected to his Sun in Scorpio. The persona (The Asc) vs the ego (The Sun) would demonstrate this aspect. He also has his North Node in the 1st house which would also represent his destiny that is self serving.
MOON IN CAPRICORN Just like in the charts of both Metal Sonic and Mephiles, they all have an earth ruled moon. Earth moons tend to be more stoic and emotionally controlled/muted due to their grounding. Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, is a cold and isolated sign that is associated by not only the father (in modern astrology) but also the devil. Infinite’s world view, emotionally, is nihilistic. To go even further, the Saturn/Capricorn themes of denial, control, isolation and confinement is apparent in Episode Shadow where Infinite traps Shadow in Null Space. He does the same to Sonic for “eternity”. This type of behavior can be a way to restrict others from taking his place.
I found it quite interesting that his original design was supposed to have “horns”. I also did some research and his design was based on the Japanese folklore of “Namahage”, who is a demon like creature.

⚫ Virgo Moon is honestly where his cold, calculating side gets even scarier. Like... this is what gives him that hyper-analytical, almost clinical way of processing everything. He doesn’t act impulsively or let emotions control him... he studies, dissects weaknesses, and moves with terrifying precision. Virgo moon makes him feel deeply organized in the most unsettling way, like every single move is part of some bigger plan. What does your creative process look like, How do you go from idea, to concept, to final draft of a fanfic?
Gosh, where do I even start? 😅 Honestly, my writing inspiration comes from so many different places in my life. Sometimes it’s personal experiences, sometimes it’s a scene from a movie or book, and other times it’s just a random song lyric that sparks something. It really all depends on where I want the story to go.
I’m also a huge daydreamer, so that definitely helps. My brain is basically always cooking up random scenarios. Once I get a solid idea, I jot it down in my notes, usually as messy little bullet points. From there, I start building scenes and piecing everything together.
And once the draft is done? I proofread the absolute HELL out of it. 😭 Sometimes I’ll even ask a friend to look it over or help me brainstorm if I hit a wall.
Then, once I’m finally happy with it, that’s when I post it. 😊
