Good luck getting him off you cuz he's not letting go the moment he makes contact with you (his grip is crazy strong,,,, he's like a face hugger if it was cuter but suffered from malnourishment)
He somehow always ends up falling asleep on you, whether it's his head on your lap or his muzzle buried into your neck, whenever you call for him he's practically hibernating because of your warmth. You and Amy are the only two people (that aren't Blaze) that he feels comfortable with enough to fall asleep around, and when he does, he'll go into a deep sleep with light snoring that takes like five minutes to shake him awake.
But unfortunately you're gonna have to coax him into not eating too much, because he's so used to eating so little that when he gets his hands on good food (whether you made it or you got it for him) the poor hog is gonna put himself in a food coma if you're not there to help him take it slow. You never know when and what your next meal will be when you're in literal hell on earth.
PLEASE keep a good hold on him and pray he does not let go if his ears catch word of anyone speaking I'll about your appearance, eating habits, weight or size, because he won't hold back.
He loves when you hold him. He takes visible pride in having such an amazing partner and he won't let you go anywhere without letting you know that.
He never tells you, but when he goes back to his time, he seeks to find your grave. So he has some semblance of knowing. It's why he does his best to make good of the time he spends with you.
He'll also never admit that he wants to immortalize you in your time so he can have you in his time. But he's worried about the repercussions.
If you feel up his chest fur he will melt into a puddle. Touch his long quills, his back spines, his muzzle, his hands, anything! Just as long as he can feel you make contact with him.
yayyy I finishhhh
@xkarmawrites (let me know if you would like me to tag you too!)
Okay so i was listening to βa thousand yearsβ by John Michael howell and i thought of Sonic, Being in his dark form being calmed down by his lover, just suggestion!!
Sonic's dark form towered over the shattered landscape, quills dripping with black energy that curled like smoke and soulless eyes. Every breath came out as a low, distorted growl.
He couldn't hear you.
Not over the storm inside his own mind.
You took one careful step forward.
"...Sonic."
The name barely reached him.
His gloved fingers dug into the earth. Shadows exploded around him, forcing you back, but you refused to run.
"I know you're still in there."
His head snapped toward you.
For a heartbeat, the creature staring back wasn't Sonic at all.
It was rage.
Pain.
Loneliness.
The kind that had been building for far longer than anyone realized.
You swallowed your fear and kept walking.
"If you want to scream... then scream."
Another step.
"If you want to hate the whole world..."
Another.
"...I'll still be here."
The darkness lashed out again, whipping around you like a hurricane.
You should have turned away.
Instead, you reached for him.
His hand trembled as your fingers brushed against it.
"No..."
His voice cracked beneath the distortion.
"Don't..."
"I've waited for this moment," you whispered, your thumb brushing over the back of his hand.
"Not because I wanted to see you like this... but because I knew one day you'd need someone to remind you who you are."
His breathing hitched.
The shadows flickered.
"You don't have to fight this alone anymore."
His eyes squeezed shut.
"I can't... stop it..."
"You don't have to stop it all at once."
You stepped closer until your forehead rested gently against his.
"I'll stay."
The words were quiet.
Steady.
"I don't care if it takes tonight..."
Your hand found his cheek.
"...or what feels like a thousand years."
Everything froze.
The darkness hesitated.
Then...
A single blue quill emerged beneath the sea of black.
His shoulders shook.
A broken sob escaped him, so quiet it almost disappeared beneath the wind.
"I was... so scared."
"I know."
"I thought if you saw me..."
"I do see you."
Your fingers intertwined with his.
"And I'm not letting go."
The shadows unraveled slowly, like ink dissolving into water. Souless eyes faded into emeralds. The monstrous aura shrank until only the familiar blue hedgehog remained, exhausted and barely able to stand.
The moment his knees gave out, you caught him.
He buried his face against your shoulder, shaking with silent tears.
"I almost hurt you..."
"But you didn't."
"I wanted to."
"I know."
You wrapped your arms around him a little tighter.
"And I still chose to walk toward you."
For the first time that night, there was no darkness.
Only the quiet rhythm of his heartbeat against yours, and the promise that no matter how many times he lost himself...
...he would never have to find his way back alone.
As you can probably tell... I haven't been uploading much lately. π I have still been writing though! I only have 3 requests left, and honestly, I think I'm gonna keep my inbox closed for a little while after I finish them because I really wanna start writing my own fics again. I might leave it open for headcanons though. :3
Also... as you can see, my pfp changed! π And yes... I started drawing!! I'm definitely not the best yet, but I'm having a lot of fun learning. If you're curious and wanna follow my art account, feel free to DM me! I'm still trying to figure out my art style, so please be kind. π₯Ήππ
I've also been thinking about sharing more of my own thoughts and little life updates on here. It's kinda scary because I'm a pretty private person, but I think it'd be nice. Let me know if that's something you guys would be interested in!
Aaand one last thing... I seriously have such a lack of friends in the Sonic fandom. π I really wanna branch out and meet more people, I just have no idea how lol.
ββ .β¦ PromptβΊ A soft, slow-burn Shadow x blind!Reader AU inspired by Veil, where a chance meeting slowly turns into something more. Little moments that mean more than either of you will admit, the two of you somehow find yourselves growing closer.
Now that Iβm completely caught up, I totally understand why so many people love it!! The romance is just so peak. I absolutely love that kind of soft, slow-burn romance, and Shadow is SO Aleksander-coded.
I took inspiration from the prologue, Scene 10, and Scene 67, while the last scene is something I came up with myself. I really hope you like it! :3 I honestly couldβve written so much more, but at that point Iβd basically be writing an entire book, lol.
If y'all haven't read it yet, PLEASE DO!!! π

Scene 1
Your cane traces the sidewalk until it taps something that it shouldn't.
You stumble, catching yourself.
"Mhm!" A low voice.
"What are you doing down there?"
You smile, still facing slightly away.
"Thinking."
"On the ground?"
"It was quiet."
"I guess I interrupted that."
"You did."
A small smile. "Sorry."
He watches you sweep your cane lightly over the pavement until you find it. No searching with your eyes, no glance in his direction. Just careful, practiced movements.
"...Were you going somewhere?" he asks.
"I was."
"Where?"
"I'm looking for work."
"What kind?"
"The kind that pays."
"..."
"I've learned not to be too picky."
He watches you straighten your coat.
You don't look at him.
You don't seem to know exactly where he's standing now, only where his voice is.
"You've been looking long?"
"Long enough."
"...I know a place."
"You do?"
"They need someone to answer calls."
You tilt your head.
"Calls?"
"At G.U.N."
You smile.
"They'd let me do that?"
"If you can answer a phone."
"I think I can manage."
A beat passes.
"You don't ask many questions."
"I ask enough."
"You don't even know if I'd be good at it."
"I'll let them decide."
You laugh.
"That's surprisingly fair."
"...Come tomorrow."
"Will you be here?"
"I can."
"So you do spend a lot of time sitting on sidewalks."
"...Sometimes."
"I'll try not to trip over you again."
"You probably will."
You grin.
"I probably will."
//
Scene 2
Every evening after a mission, he'd return, file his report, and somehow end up outside your office until you finished.
You never asked him to wait.
He never said he was.
"You know," you said, slipping the last folder into its tray, "I'm beginning to think you're terrible at going home."
"I leave."
"Eventually."
You reached for your cane.
Before your fingers found it, it was already in your hand.
"...Thanks."
He simply nodded.
The hallway was quiet as you walked together.
Your shoulder brushed his once.
Then again.
"You got hurt."
It wasn't a question.
He glanced at the thin scrape across one quill.
"It's nothing."
"Hm."
"You noticed."
"I always notice."
Another silence settled between you.
Comfortable.
Unhurried.
When you reached the front entrance, you stopped.
"Promise me something."
He waited.
"The next time you go out there..."
Your hand found his arm, sliding upward until your fingertips rested lightly against the side of his face.
Carefully.
As if memorizing it.
Your thumb brushed just beneath one crimson eye.
"...You'll bring this back."
Shadow didn't move.
"You'll save it for me."
It wasn't spoken dramatically.
Just... quietly.
Like asking someone not to forget their umbrella.
His heartbeat felt strangely loud.
"...I will."
"You promise?"
"...Yes."
You smiled.
"Good."
Then, before he could think to step away, you leaned forward.
Your lips brushed softly against the corner of his eye.
Just for a moment.
A thank you.
A promise of your own.
When you stepped back, you looked as calm as ever.
"Goodnight, Shadow."
You walked toward the waiting transport, your cane tapping gently against the pavement.
Tap.
Tap.
Tap.
He remained where he was.
One gloved hand slowly rose to the place you'd touched.
The scrape on his quill had never bothered him.
For the first time...
The thought of coming back without that eye did.
//
Scene 3
The road hums beneath the tires.
Shadow drives with one hand on the wheel.
You sit beside him, face turned toward the open window.
"...Are you listening?"
"Yes."
"What did I say?"
"You said the moon is probably overrated."
You smile.
"So you are listening."
"I said I was."
"I can't check."
His eyes flick toward you.
You are smiling still.
A joke.
Mostly.
"The moon is overrated," you continue.
"You've never seen it."
"Exactly. Everyone describes it differently."
"It's round."
"That's disappointing."
"What were you expecting?"
"I don't know. Something worthy of all the poetry."
Shadow looks back at the road.
"It's bright."
"Mm."
"And far away."
"Mm."
"It follows the car."
You turn toward him.
"It does?"
"Sometimes."
"That's better."
The road stretches ahead.
For a while, there is only the engine.
Then you begin again.
"If you could keep one thing you've seen, what would it be?"
β’ Metal and Infinite could not staaaand each other at first. They're both way too possessive to be okay with sharing you, so they were constantly trying to prove why the other didn't deserve you.
β’ Eventually, you gave them an ultimatum: either accept that you weren't choosing... or lose you completely. Neither liked it, but neither was willing to walk away.
β’ It wasn't exactly peaceful. There was plenty of jealousy and arguing, but over time they learned where the line was because neither wanted to push you away.
β’ They're still villains, so don't expect a super mushy relationship. Feelings stay buried, affection is subtle, but somehow... it works.
Love Languages;
β’ Metal remembers every little thing about you. Your favorite drink, your routines, your habits... he never points it out, he just quietly acts on it until you wonder, "...How did you know that?"
β’ Infinite shows he cares by doing things without being asked. Jacket when you're cold, dealing with people who bother you, grabbing what you need... then insisting it was "just convenient."
Dates;
β’ Movie nights are their version of a date. Infinite pretends he doesn't care what you watch... until you try changing it. "I was watching that."
β’ Metal analyzes every detail and somehow figures out the ending halfway through. Ask him a question and he'll pause the movie to explain everything.
β’ Infinite spends the whole movie making sarcastic comments, especially during horror movies. Romance? He'll call it cheesy while secretly paying attention.
β’ You're usually stuck between them on the couch. Metal stays close enough for your shoulders to touch, while Infinite casually drapes an arm behind you.
β’ If you fall asleep, neither wakes you. Infinite grumbles about you missing the ending, while Metal quietly lowers the volume. Secretly... it's their favorite part of the night.
All in all;
β’ No matter how much they bicker with each other, the second someone threatens you, they're on the same side. Whatever argument they were having can wait. You come first.
β’ Metal is always watching, scanning for anything that could put you in danger before it even happens. Infinite is more... direct. If someone hurts you, they'll regret it almost immediately.
β’ They trust very few people, but they trust each other enough to know you'll never be left unprotected. If one can't be there, the other will be.
β’ At the end of the day, you are the one thing they refuse to lose. They'll fight each other, argue, and compete for your attention... but they'd protect you with everything they have without a second thought.

βBEACH EPISODE!!β πβοΈ
So I put together some headcanons for what the Sonic characters would be like during a beach day!

SONIC
β’ Sonic would spend most of the day sunbathing with his sunglasses on, enjoying the warmth instead of going anywhere near the ocean. Heβd claim heβs βjust relaxing,β but heβd still end up joining some beach games.
SHADOW
β’ Shadow would sit somewhere quiet with a towel, probably under an umbrella, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Heβd act annoyed when everyone drags him into activities. Tho, he'd probably have lots of fun.
SILVER
β’ Silver would absolutely build a MASSIVE sandcastle, complete with tiny details and decorations. Heβd get way too excited showing everyone his creation, especially after using his telekinesis to make it perfect.
KNUCKLES
β’ Knuckles would turn beach volleyball into a SERIOUS competition and accidentally hit the ball way too hard. Heβd also spend time digging in the sand because searching for treasure is basically second nature.
MIGHTY
β’ Mighty would be the chill one playing volleyball with Knuckles while making sure everyone has snacks and water. Later, he'd probably go for a swim in the ocean.
ESPIO
β’ Espio would treat the beach like a meditation spot, sitting near the shore and listening to the waves. Heβd probably make a simple but elegant sand sculpture next to Silver's sand castle.
omg I was literally stalking like 2 days or so when requests were closed so imagine my excitement right now when I see theyβre openπ Iβm feeling INCREDIBLY angsty, so could I request a boom!sonic x fem!human reader where reader gets the classic donut death trope that happens in animes (aka, getting a literal FIST through your stomach..cough cough..rengoku..cough..I totally didnβt think of this cause I just finished rewatching mugen train..COUGH.)

ββ .β¦ PromptβΊ Sonic has something important heβs been meaning to tell you, but before he can say it, Eggmanβs latest attack changes everything. A moment that was supposed to be a confession becomes a fight for what matters most. (Set in the Sonic Boom universe)
Yessss, angst!! I donβt get many requests like this, so it was really fun (and painful π) to write. I also decided to do something a little different with the way the readerβs story ends, so I hope you enjoy it!
Honestly, I almost couldnβt finish after the mugen train arc cause of that scene. Rip my boi Rengoku π
βRunning around at the speed of sound doesnβt mean your brain is working at the same speed.β
He laughed.
That familiar laugh that always made you smile.
Then his expression softened.
The joking faded.
βSoooβ¦ I actually have something important to tell you.β
You blinked.
Sonic didnβt usually sound like this.
Not when he was facing Eggman.
Not when he was about to jump off a cliff.
But now?
Now he looked nervous.
βSonicβ¦β
Before he could say another word, the ground shook.
A giant machine crashed through the trees, metal feet crushing the dirt beneath it.
A voice echoed from the speakers.
βSONIC THE HEDGEHOG!β
Sonic sighed.
βOf course.β
Eggmanβs machine lifted its arm, firing a blast toward them.
Sonic grabbed your hand and pulled you away just in time.
βGuess weβre putting this conversation on pause.β
You looked at him.
βPromise youβll finish it?β
His grin returned.
βPromise.β
Then he ran.
/
The fight exploded across the island.
Tails flew overhead, shooting down Eggbots.
βEggman upgraded these robots!β
Knuckles punched one into the dirt.
βThey still break.β
Amy swung her hammer, sending another machine flying.
βKnuckles, you canβt just solve everything by punching it.β
βWhy not?β
Sticks appeared beside you, staring suspiciously at the battlefield.
βI knew the metal army would return. The trees told me.β
You looked at her.
βThe trees told you?β
βTheyβre very chatty.β
You decided not to question it.
Your attention returned to Sonic.
He was fighting like always.
Fast.
Confident.
Impossible to catch.
But then you noticed something.
Eggman wasnβt looking at the fight.
He was watching Sonic.
Waiting.
Your eyes narrowed.
The machineβs chest opened.
A weapon began charging.
A low hum filled the air.
Your stomach dropped.
The laser.
It was aimed straight at Sonic.
βSonic!β
Nothing.
He didnβt hear you.
Eggman laughed.
βGoodbye, Sonic!β
The weapon reached full charge.
You didnβt think.
You moved.
You sprinted forward.
βSonic!β
He turned at the sound of your voice.
And then you shoved him out of the way.
The laser hit you.
Pain.
A blinding flash.
The world went silent.
For a second, you couldnβt even understand what happened.
Then you looked down.
Your hands shook.
There was a hole.
A devastating burn tore through your stomach, the force of the blast leaving a brutal wound through your body. Your clothes were scorched around the impact, and your legs struggled to hold you up.
You barely felt yourself falling.
But Sonic did.
βNO!β
Everything stopped.
Sonic stared at you.
Then his expression changed.
Not fear.
Not shock.
Anger.
A terrifying kind of anger.
Eggman laughed from his machine.
βWell, that was unexpected. But I suppose a little collateral damage is-β
He never finished.
Sonic was already gone.
A blue blur ripped across the battlefield.
The force of his speed shook the ground.
Eggman barely had time to react.
βWhat?β
Sonic slammed into the machine.
Hard.
The machine cracked.
Eggman panicked.
βWait, Sonic, letβs be reasonable!β
βNo.β
Sonic hit the machine again.
The final blow shattered the machineβs core.
Smoke filled the air.
Eggmanβs robot collapsed.
Sonic didnβt even look back.
He ran to you.
You were still on the ground when he reached you.
βHey.β
His voice broke.
He dropped beside you, carefully pulling you into his arms.
βHey, look at me.β
Your eyes opened slightly.
βSonicβ¦β
βNo.β
His hands trembled.
βDonβt talk. Save your energy.β
A tear slipped down his face.
You stared at him.
βYouβre crying.β
He let out a shaky laugh.
βYeah.β
His voice cracked.
βYeah, I am.β
For once, Sonic wasnβt trying to hide it.
He looked scared.
You lifted your hand weakly, touching his cheek.
βWhat was it?β
He froze.
βWhat?β
βThe thing you wanted to tell me.β
His face fell.
Because now he knew.
There wasnβt going to be another chance.
Sonic swallowed.
βI was going to tell youβ¦β
His voice shook.
βThat I...β
More tears fell.
βThat I have feelings...for you.β
You watched him quietly.
βI wanted to tell you sooner. I justβ¦β
He looked down.
βI kept thinking Iβd have another day.β
Your smile was small.
Painful.
But real.
βSonicβ¦β
He held your hand against his.
βIβm sorry.β
Your eyes softened.
βSonic, donβt be.β
Your breathing grew weaker.
You looked at him one last time.
The person who always ran toward danger.
The person who always saved everyone.
The person who never realized someone wanted to save him too.
ββ .β¦ PromptβΊ Heβs always been the one who takes charge. The one who never lets his guard down. But tonight, you want to show Shadow that surrender isnβt weaknessβ¦ sometimes, itβs the ultimate form of trust.
But honestly? While writing this, I started to really enjoy exploring this side of him. I didnβt really go into it with a specific type of βsubβ in mind. I just wrote what felt natural for him and what I think being vulnerable like this would mean for Shadow.
To me, itβs not really about losing control. Itβs about trust.
Trusting someone enough to let them take the reins for once. Trusting someone enough to let your guard down. And for someone like Shadow, who carries so much and is used to relying only on himself(and a few others), I imagine that kind of trust would be one of the hardest things for him to give.
So I hope you enjoy what I came up with!π€
β±ΰΌΊΰΌοΈΰΌ»β°
Shadow was many things.
Stubborn.
Proud.
Impossible.
And right now, standing in front of you with his arms crossed and that familiar unreadable expression, he was all three.
βI donβt think so.β
You tilted your head.
βYou didnβt even let me finish.β
βI know what you were going to say.β
A small laugh escaped you.
βDo you?β
His eyes narrowed.
βYou want to take control.β
The way he said it sounded almost like an accusation.
Almost.
You stepped closer, studying him.
βAnd thatβs a problem?β
Shadow looked away for a moment.
βYou know Iβm not someone who gives that up easily.β
There it was.
The real answer.
Not rejection.
Not anger.
Just Shadow being Shadow.
The kind of person who spent his entire life carrying everything alone because trusting someone else with even a piece of it felt impossible.
You smiled softly.
βI know.β
His gaze returned to you.
βThen why ask?β
βBecause I donβt want to control you.β
That made him pause.
You reached out, but stopped just before touching him.
βI want you to let me take care of you for once.β
The silence that followed felt heavier than any argument.
Shadowβs expression barely changed, but you noticed it.
The tiny shift.
The way his shoulders loosened.
βYou think I need taking care of?β
βNo.β
You smiled.
βI think you deserve it.β
For once, he had no quick comeback.
That was rare.
Almost impressive.
βYouβre very confident.β
βYou say that like itβs a bad thing.β
βIt usually is.β
You raised an eyebrow.
βUsually?β
A faint smirk tugged at his mouth.
βDonβt push your luck.β
βOh, Iβm definitely pushing it.β
You stepped closer until he couldnβt ignore you anymore.
βYouβre testing me.β
βYouβre the one who refuses to admit when someone gets through to you.β
His eyes sharpened.
βAnd you think you have?β
You smiled.
βI know I have.β
The silence stretched.
Then Shadow let out a quiet breath, shaking his head.
βYouβre impossible.β
βAnd yet youβre still here.β
That earned you a look.
A long one.
The kind that said he hated how right you were.
Slowly, Shadow lowered his arms.
Not because he was defeated.
Because he trusted you.
βThat doesnβt mean you win.β
You grinned.
βReally?β
βYes.β
βShadow.β
A small sigh.
βYouβre enjoying this.β
βMaybe.β
His eyes softened, just slightly.
βAnd if I say no?β
You looked at him for a moment.
Then gently reached for his hand.
βThen I stop.β
That was what changed everything.
Not the teasing.
Not the challenge.
The fact that you meant it.
Shadow stared at your hand in his, like he was still trying to understand the feeling of someone giving him a choice instead of demanding something from him.
Then his fingers curled around yours.
A quiet answer.
A quiet trust.
ββ¦Fine.β
Your smile grew.
βFine?β
βDonβt make me repeat myself.β
βYouβre letting me lead?β
His eyes narrowed.
βCareful."
You laughed softly.
And for once, Shadow didnβt fight the warmth that crossed his face.
βJust this once.β
You squeezed his hand.
βWe both know thatβs a lie.β
A quiet huff.
Almost a laugh.
βAnnoying woman.β
βYour annoying woman.β
A pause.
Then, softer..
ββ¦Yeah.β
/
You leaned in, capturing his lips in a slow kiss.
Your arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer as you guided him backward toward the bed.
Neither of you broke away until the backs of your legs brushed against the mattress.
With a small smile, you turned the two of you around, gently pushing him down until Shadow was sitting. The bed gave a quiet creak beneath his weight.
You stepped between his legs, lowering yourself in front of him.
When you looked up at him, there was a playful spark in your eyes.
"Let me take care of you tonight, Ultimate Lifeform."
His left ear twitched.
That title always did something to him.
You watched his expression shift, the confidence he usually carried faltering just slightly. A faint blush dusted across his face, and suddenly he couldn't seem to meet your gaze. His arms crossed over his chest, the classic Shadow defense.
Still trying to pretend he wasn't affected.
Your smile only grew as you noticed him getting aroused.
"Shadow~"
Your voice softened.
His eyes stayed anywhere but on you.
Stubborn.
Of course.
You reached up, gently catching his chin between your fingers and guiding his attention back to you. His eyes closed for a moment, like he was trying to regain control.
"Look at me," you whispered.
A pause.
Then, quieter;
"Please."
Slowly, Shadow opened his eyes.
There it was.
That tiny bit of trust he never gave easily.
You smiled softly.
"Trust me."
And for once, Shadow didn't fight you.
You leaned in closer, and the moment your lips met his most sensitive spot, his composure cracked.
At first, you took your time, watching him carefully. Your eyes stayed on his face, catching every little reaction he tried so desperately to hide.
A quiet sound escaped him.
Immediately, his arm moved to cover his face, embarrassment flashing across his features.
And you?
You couldn't help but smile.
Because seeing Shadow, the Ultimate Lifeform, someone who always acted so untouchable, trying to pretend he wasnβt affected by you was almost too adorable.
You paused, gently reaching up and moving his arm away.
"Let me see you."
For a moment, he hesitated.
That familiar stubbornness returned, the instinct to hide, to keep his guard up.
But then his expression softened.
Slowly, he relaxed and gave a small nod.
A silent answer.
A sign that he trusted you.
Your smile turned into a knowing smirk.
And with that reassurance, you continued, watching as Shadow finally allowed himself to let go. (Somewhat)
What escaped him was something you rarely ever heard.
Not loud.
Just soft, broken sounds that slipped past the walls he always kept so carefully built.
Your eyes never left his face, and this time, he didnβt look away.
Shadowβs gaze stayed locked with yours, his usual confidence unraveling in a way only you got to see.
His chest rose and fell with uneven breaths, a faint flush coloring his features.
His hand hovered above you, caught between control and surrender.
For a moment, he tried to guide the pace.
Tried to hold onto that familiar sense of control.
But one look from you was enough.
A quiet reassurance.
A reminder that he could trust you.
Slowly, the tension left his body, allowing himself to let go and follow your lead.
You wanted to remember this.
Because moments like this were rare.
Shadow, the one who always carried himself like nothing could reach him, was letting you see the side of him he kept hidden from everyone else.
So you took your time.
You kept your gaze on him, watching every little reaction he tried so hard to hide.
Until finally, his composure began to crack.
His expression shifted, his grip tightening slightly as he lost himself in the moment.
I was gonna ask about Silver and Mighty (I don't mind them together with reader or separate)

Omg, hiyaaa!! π€ Thank you so much for sending in a request! Iβd love to hear what ideas you had in mind for the fic??
I just wanted to let you know that it might be a little bit of a wait before I get to it π I still have about 6 requests I need to work through (yikes π), so thank you so much for being patient with me!
Also, I just wanted to say I absolutely love your art!! π₯°
Just had a thought of reader travelling but their car suddenly breaks down near a small town they're not familiar with, giving them no choice but to see Mechanic! Scourge (Or Sonic if it fits better) to get their vehicle fixed. Could be fluff or smut :)
ββ .β¦ PromptβΊ After your car breaks down in the middle of a storm, you're forced to spend the night at a small-town garage with a cocky mechanic named Scourge. As the flirting escalates, so does the tension, especially when you realize you can't pay for the repairs.
I took a week break from writing but I'm happy to be posting more again! :3
Anyway, enjoy!

The rain came down in sheets, turning the lonely highway into a river of blurred headlights and silver reflections.
You gripped the steering wheel tighter.
"Come on... come on..."
The engine answered with a pathetic sputter.
Then silence.
Your heart sank.
"No. No, no, no, no..."
The dashboard lights flickered.
Dead.
Completely dead.
Somewhere in the distance, a flickering neon sign glowed through the storm.
'24/7 AUTO REPAIR'
Well.
At least it was something.
/
By the time you pushed through the garage door, you were soaked.
The place looked abandoned.
Tools hung from the walls.
An old radio crackled somewhere.
A single light illuminated a workbench.
And beneath it...
A green hedgehog rolled out from underneath a truck.
Grease stained his hands.
His white tank top.
His smug grin.
"Well, look what the storm dragged in."
You immediately disliked him.
Which was unfortunate.
Because he was annoyingly attractive.
"My car broke down."
"Yeah?" he drawled.
"That's usually why people come to a mechanic."
You resisted the urge to throw something at him.
/
Once he got the car inside, he started working right away.
The garage was quiet.
Only the rain tapping against the roof and the occasional clink of metal broke the silence.
You sat on a nearby stool, cradling a paper cup of terrible coffee while Scourge worked beneath the raised hood of your car.
For a while neither of you spoke.
Then..
"So."
Scourge's voice drifted from beneath the hood.
"What'd you do to her?"
You blinked.
"Excuse me?"
"The car."
He emerged just enough to shoot you a grin.
"What crime did you commit against this poor machine?"
You laughed.
"I didn't do anything."
"That's what they all say."
"I take good care of my car."
"Suuure you do."
The sarcasm was immediate.
You rolled your eyes.
"Why are mechanics always so dramatic?"
"Occupational hazard."
Scourge disappeared back into the engine.
A few moments passed before he spoke again.
"So where were you headed?"
You told him.
He let out a low whistle.
"Long drive."
"Yeah."
"Alone?"
You raised an eyebrow.
"Why? Worried about me?"
"Nah."
His grin returned.
"Just surprised somebody'd let you wander around lookin' like that."
You looked down at yourself.
"Like what?"
He pretended to think about it.
"Pretty."
Your stomach immediately betrayed you.
Heat climbed into your cheeks.
"Oh my."
"What?"
"You can't just say things like that."
"Why not?"
"Because it's weird."
Scourge laughed.
"Nah."
His eyes flicked over to you.
"It's only weird because you liked it."
You opened your mouth.
Closed it.
Opened it again.
Nothing came out.
The grin on his face widened.
"Thought so."
"You are ridiculously full of yourself."
"And yet you've been sittin' here talking to me for an hour."
You hated how good of a point that was.
The worst part?
You weren't even trying to leave.
Somewhere between the teasing, the laughter, and the way his eyes lit up whenever he got a reaction out of you, the garage had become a lot more comfortable than it should've been.
Which was dangerous.
Because Scourge looked exactly like the kind of guy your better judgment would've warned you about.
And unfortunately...
Your better judgment was losing.
/
Finally, after what felt like no time at all, he slammed the hood shut.
"There."
You straightened immediately.
"Seriously?"
"Seriously."
Scourge tossed the wrench onto a nearby table.
"She's good as new."
Relief flooded through you.
Then..
You reached for your wallet.
Then froze.
Your stomach dropped.
You checked again.
Your purse.
Your jacket.
Every pocket.
Nothing.
"...You've gotta be kidding me."
Scourge looked up instantly.
"What?"
You winced.
"I don't have my wallet."
A grin spread across his face so fast it was almost impressive.
"No wallet?"
"No."
"No cash?"
"No."
"No card?"
You groaned.
"No."
Scourge folded his arms.
"Well."
That single word made you nervous.
"What?"
He pretended to think it over.
"Hate to break it to ya, sweetheart, but repairs ain't free."
You laughed despite your panic.
"I'm aware."
His eyes sparkled with trouble.
"Guess we'll have to get creative."
You already knew you weren't going to like where this was headed.
He stepped around the car.
Slowly.
Casually.
The grin never leaving his face.
"Only one payment option left."
You raised an eyebrow.
"And what's that?"
Scourge elevator eyed you.
"Your body."
The silence that followed lasted all of two seconds before you burst out laughing.
"You're ridiculous."
"And handsome."
"Debatable."
"Ouch."
You shook your head, still smiling.
"Do you practice these lines?"
"Practice?"
He looked offended.
"Sweetheart, this is natural talent."
The rain hammered against the roof.
Somehow the garage felt warmer than before.
Smaller, too.
Scourge stopped a few feet away.
Close enough to make your pulse skip.
Far enough that you could pretend not to notice.
"So?"
His voice dipped slightly.
"What's the verdict?"
"The verdict?"
"You gonna leave me a five-star review?"
You laughed.
"I was actually gonna say you're lucky you're my type."
For the first time all night, Scourge blinked.
Caught completely off guard.
Only for a second.
Then a slow grin spread across his face.
The kind that made your stomach flip.
"Yeah?"
His eyes held yours.
"Good thing for me, then."
You hated how much you liked that answer.
And judging by the way his grin widened...
Scourge knew it.
He clearly took it as an invitation.
Without a second to spare, he closed the distance between you, his hand instantly found the back of your neck, fingers tangling roughly in the damp hair there.
Before you could even take a breath, his mouth crashed down on yours.
It was nothing like a gentle peck.
It was hungry, demanding, and searing hot.
You melted into him, your hands finding his shoulders, pulling him closer until there was no space left between you.
The smell of rain, motor oil, and his cologne filled your senses, drowning out the sound of the storm outside.
For a moment, the entire world seemed to disappear.
No broken-down car.
No storm.
No garage.
Just him.
His hand slid to your waist, steady and warm, keeping you anchored as the kiss deepened. Your heart hammered against your ribs so hard you were certain he could feel it.
Every time you thought he was about to pull away, he lingered for another second, another breath, another stolen moment that left your head spinning.
When he finally broke the kiss, both of you were a little breathless.
You stared at him.
He stared right back.
Then a crooked grin spread across his face.
"Well," he said, brushing a thumb against your side, "that's only half the payment."
You blinked.
"Half?"
"Yeah." His grin widened. "The other half's gonna cost you dinner."
A laugh escaped you before you could stop it.
"Are you asking me out?"
"Depends." He leaned against the workbench, trying and failing to look casual. "You gonna say yes?"
You looked at the mechanic who'd rescued your car, stolen your breath, and completely ruined any chance of you pretending you weren't interested.
ahhh omg omg Iβm the anon who requested the knight mighty x reader fic! I really loved that one, so can we get headcanons for when mighty gets really injured protecting the princess during an attack, and later on while patching him up, the princess vents to him about her worries for him, sobbing and hugging him, telling him she doesnβt want him to leave her side, just cutesy hurt/comfort?
β’ Okii, so imagine the kingdom is under attack. Guards are running everywhere, people are screaming, and the castle is in complete chaos.
β’ Mighty is glued to your side, refusing to let you out of his sight. Then suddenly, someone manages to slip through the defenses and aims directly at you.
β’ Mighty doesn't even hesitate.
β’ He throws himself in front of you before anyone can stop him.
β’ One second he's standing beside you, the next he's hitting the ground.
β’ And I just KNOW your heart would completely stop at that moment.
β’ You didn't seem to care that the battle was still happening around you. You didn't care about the shouting or the fighting. All you see is Mighty lying there injured.
β’ You're immediately at his side, grabbing his face, calling his name, trying so hard not to break down right there.
β’ Meanwhile this absolute fool opens his eyes, gives you the weakest little smile imaginable, and the FIRST thing he says is:
"You're alright..."
β’ SIR.
β’ THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU SHOULD BE SAYING RIGHT NOW.
β’ It honestly makes you want to cry even more.
β’ After the attack, the healers manage to stop the bleeding, but you practically kicked everyone out afterward.
β’ "I can handle the rest."
β’ So now it's just the two of you in his room.
β’ Mighty is sitting on the edge of the bed with his armor removed, a bandage wrapped around his shoulder where he took the hit for you.
β’ And honestly? He's feeling pretty good about himself.
β’ you were safe.
β’ That's all that mattered.
β’ Then you start cleaning one of the cuts on his arm.
β’ And you're being... strangely quiet.
β’ Mighty notices immediately.
"Princess?"
β’ Nothing.
β’ You keep dabbing at the wound.
"You're upset."
β’ And that's when you finally crack.
"What did you expect?"
β’ The words come out shakier than you intended.
β’ You set the cloth down and look at him, eyes already watering.
"You threw yourself in front of me."
β’ Mighty opens his mouth to argue.
β’ You don't let him.
"You could've died, Mighty."
β’ OOF.
β’ The room gets very quiet after that.
β’ You continue wrapping the bandage around his arm, but now tears are slipping down your cheeks.
"You never think about yourself."
"You always rush into danger."
"And one day..."
β’ Your voice breaks.
"One day you're not going to come back."
β’ That one hits him harder than any sword ever could.
β’ Because suddenly he realizes this isn't about his injuries.
β’ It's about how terrified you were of losing him.
β’ The second you finish tying the bandage, you finally stop pretending you're okay.
β’ You just lean forward and hug him.
β’ Careful of his wounds, but tight enough that he knows you don't want to let go.
"I don't want you to leave my side..."
β’ Mighty completely melts.
β’ His arms immediately wrap around you.
β’ One hand gently rubbing your back.
"Hey..."
β’ His voice is so soft now.
"I'm still here."
β’ He presses a kiss to the top of your head.
"And I'll always do everything I can to come back to you."
β’ Not because he's a knight.
β’ Not because it's his duty.
β’ But because hearing you cry over him?
Yeah, Mighty never wants to experience that again.
