Hello Lord Frieza, I do say a lot of our food today is manufactured due to the demands of population or making production more streamlined to generate more profits form consumers. Though the best food and drink in my opinion is from companies that still use some of the old more primitive methods. Plus, depending on the region you are on Earth you can get vastly different cuisine and liquor. We have multiple of biomes on the planet with their own fauna that you can't get nowhere else.
Though to someone who been all over the universe it might look kind of stupid and it's probably is. But, to humans great food and liquor is a must in life. That's why we are often experimenting trying to find the next great flavor.
Though do other planets have multiple biomes like Earth? Also, what kind of wines do you like?

I'm well aware of the vast amounts of foods that Earth has, however to manufacturer to the point were its nearly all fake, is just ridiculous, if Earth was an intergalactic travel/trade based planet, then perhaps the population and the food wouldn't be so bad.
Most creatures within the universe desires such things, as food is a universal need, however the way you humans do it, it's sloppy.
To answer your first question, no, most planets don't have multiple biomes, they usually just have one solid climate and one solid biome, however sometimes they have dual biomes, but never as vast as Earth's.
Now to answer the second, it's blood red wine from the grapes on planet Tarezes, they're extra strong and very large large. Their taste is divinely exquisite.
