I haven't quite figured it out yet...

So to begin, I have just come to accept that I am no longer in love with my ex that I lost my virginity too. It was a long and terrible 14 years, with it's good parts but it has to end, finally. It is time for me to get that closure I have been asking for. Time has definitely changed and gone by since we were 13 and 14. I imagine he is happier then ever and I feel content knowing he is. He has a kind heart, intelligent man who fights for our country, why wouldn't I want him to be happy? He deserves the best.

I guess at the very pit of my soul, or whatever, I still have that childhood feeling. I may no longer be in love with him, and he may never truly forgive me for the things I have done to what we once had, and I finally am able to take all the blame for it. I am not trying to rekindle a thing here, simply put, I love you and care for you. I can only hope life brings you true happiness and safe passage.Maybe one day we can be those two friends we always tried to be. Congrats my love. See you again one day soon. :)
