I’m not a huge fan of the New England IPA, but I couldn’t resist the design on this can.

BB in bed, part 2.
85 years old today. Strange to think that this hugely influential generation of people like Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, and Brigitte Bardot won’t be around for that long anymore. (We’re also fast losing people who remember WW2.) These people are cultural pillars. Living legends. They were the first generation of stars that people could relate to, I mean they weren’t alien figures in the sky. They inspired people to dress and think differently. They heralded the Sixties and changed their times, not by demanding it or even fighting for it, but just because they were who they were. History has a funny way of assigning important roles like that.
As you might know, I store the stuff I post here on my Pinterest account. Today I’m uploading a big batch of BB photos to that account that I won’t feature here, mostly because their image quality is too low, or the photo doesn’t really warrant a separate post. So if you’re a fan, check it out. And hey! When you’re done, return to this blog—pronto. Don’t loiter. Come on now.
