Space Marines Happens.

Okay. fucking long post but i’ll try to keep it as short as possible. It all starts when i bought some Warhammer 40k Space Marines from Ebay. Just a good ol’ squad to see if im into the hobby again or not. So they were delivered but the paint job on them was ..yeah .. shit.

I was tired of the paintjob so i tried to strip the paint with some household chemicals which worked alright but you need alot of time and elbowgreese because that shit wont come of as easy as you want to.

Thing to remember for the future : Use fucking Break Fluid. Break Fluid is GOD. NOT Break Cleaner or something. BREAK FLUID. It doesnt hurt your Finecast, Normal Plastic Models nor Pewter. ANYWAY i was Scrubbing my Marines for some time, 3-4 hours when a friend of my niece came to visit us and they start hanging arround in my room. She said “OH I KNOW THESE DWARVS , MY BIG BROTHER USED TO COLLECT THEM.” while watching me scrubbing my small, blue, bald, Battlebrother. Her brother sadly died a couple of years ago. And because she wanted to get rid of the “Dwarves” I told her “Yeah cool bring them over and i’ll check them out!” I thought “Hey, no Space Marines but at least some cool Warhammer Fantasy Dwarven. Maybe even some Slayers!” well, next day she sended me some picutes of the “Dwarves”.

Fuck me mate, those aren’t freakin’ Dwarves. THESE ARE FUCKING SPACE MARINES. AND CHAOS SPACE MARINES AND FREAKIN SPACE ORKSNSHIT.

Well i didnt got all this stuff for free, I gave some PS4 games i didn’t play anymore and a little bit of cash and we were golden. So yeah now im stripping paint from models like a pro, wash them twice and let them Dry. i also reassemble some and tbh i fucked some up so bad .. but i think thats part of the hobby.

these fuckers below are already done vvvv (ignore the nasty hairbrush that no one used for 2 months because it fell down into a trashbin)
