Fluttering Letters: an Eremika AU
Hello!! It’s been a long time since I talked or introduced an AU. I’m sorry for being too inactive here, I hope I can start being more active in this place!! 😭😭🫶
I had been talking about this AU yet I haven’t completely posted more details or information but today I will post about this AU:
The setting will be set during the 50s century. I think it will match better the name because in a modern AU sadly letters are not as used as before.
In this AU, Eren (he’s 30) is a pilot who works for Paradis Airlines while Mikasa (she’s 24) is a flight attendant who works for Hizuru Airlines.
And yes, there’s a age difference because I read that during the 50s, there was a lot of requirements to become a flight attendant and one of them was the age. Flight attendants during the 50s must be from 22 to 28 years old and among others such as height, weight, if they had good teeth, good figure, etc… I know, lots of requirements and all to attract the male gaze.
Eren and Mikasa will have quite a chaotic but funny meeting LOL. Everything happened at the airport of Marley (it will be one of the largest airports and where international flights are done too). Mikasa will be running since she’s late to her flight but since she’s in rush, shes not paying attention on what’s in front of her and will end up crashing against Eren (who’s returning from a flight).
Eren helps her to pick up all her belongings that fell from her bag, handing it to her while Mikasa apologized and left. But she forgot something, a valuable belonging for her: a butterfly hair clip that was on Eren’s hands. And of course, Eren tried to tell her she forgot something but she already left.
And Eren was struck, he felt interested on the beautiful woman who was in hurry (and Mikasa also felt interested in Eren but in this AU he fell first, Mikasa didn’t notice him a lot since she was all rushed LOL 😭😭)
And since day Eren will be all head over heels, thinking over and over about her. Thinking about her and wondering what her name is (Mikasa forgot to introduce herself btw). Eren wondered if someone knew her, if there was a way he could contact her so he could return her this valuable object.
And yes, someone who works for Hizuru airlines will tell him about Mikasa and even give him an address where Eren can contact her.
At first, Mikasa won’t answer any letters because she’s scare or she will think these letters were sent by mistake but her mailbox will be full of his letters, and that will make her feel upset. She will answer his letters, confronting him.
But everything will be solved, Eren will explain to her why he sent all those letters and Mikasa will understand those letters were not from a stalker or sent by mistake, they were because Eren wanted to return her something (and because he’s interested on her too)
And from that conversation, Eren will send her letters, talking about anything. In one of their conversations, Mikasa will tell Eren that she has never visited other places than Marley and Hizuru (Mikasa works for an airline where the only international flight is Marley, the other flights are inside of the lands of Hizuru)
So Eren will began telling her everything about every place he had visited and sending her photographs as well and also Eren will send her beautiful gifts. Their love will start to bloom, all the letters that Eren will send to Mikasa will become more different, the letters will feel more romantic and intimate.
On Mikasa’s birthday, Eren has a surprise planned to her. He will take her to her dream place—a place where she had dreamed to visit and met. Their love will bloom even more and things will happen too JSKKSKSKD (kisses and much more maybe…)
And this is everything for this new AU, I don’t know exactly when I will start writing it but what I can tell is that this will be a short fic (only one chapter or maybe 3 chapters). I really hope y’all love this AU and tell me what you think about it too!!! 🫶🫶🫶
