Elabi’s ears twitched confusedly but she complied and reached a hand out to grasp at the tail directly in front of her. She was most definitely capable of finding her way around but she wouldn’t turn down some help. Though she did wonder briefly about how this all looked, her holding onto someone’s tail. She puffed her cheeks out slightly as a light pink dusted across them and mumbled, “Sure, I suppose I wouldn’t mind some tea right now.”

It was loud. Painfully loud, even for him, and it was starting to get on his nerves. He was just waiting, with veins slowly rising to the surface in his frustration. Waiting, patiently for that word and touch. "Verreth." That's all he needed and he would silence them all for her.

Elabi’s ears were flattened against her head. The constant buzz from all the chatter was annoying and her sensitive ears picked up on every single whisper and throat clearing from every single guest. She hated these kinds of parties, always preferring smaller gatherings in quiet places. Turning to her companion to complain, she realized the tension in his form and recognized the beginnings of a bad situation and had to get him out as quickly as possible.

Placing a small and gentle hand on his upper arm as leverage, Elabi reached up and gently touched his cheek. This was not her preferred method but given the situation, it was important to diffuse it in the most careful manner that she could manage. Quietly, she whispered his name as she began to nudge him to the direction of the exit.

Elabi sniffs the air a little bit and picks up hints of cinnamon. The fur on her ears detected a slight ripple in the air, all of these were telltale signs of light magic. “What is that, what are you doing?”
