Mosercest in dexter the novel really shocked me
after watching the series I just got fascinated by this ship and couldn't wait to know more so I started reading the original text of the series but I was shocked (in a good way trust me,more like surprised )
this part is about dexter dreaming he was killing except it was through Brian's eyes or we could say,he shares the same body with brian which is now committing a crime which is actually what really is happening in real life, dexter just somehow experiencing it even without him knowing what this is about.(you know where I last saw this like two men experiencing things together in one body while one of them dreaming?a pornography which is said to be written by Oscar Wilde ).And he said he was "floating "in this room which I would consider poetic but
the writer himself in the lines that followed just reveals that "floating"(a form of flying )means having sex.Okay, who the hell are you having sex with?I can't tell you how weird this is,Jeff Lindsay I don't dare to understand what you are writing.
And even weirder, just after a few lines, dexter was accused of kissing like a homosexual.Okay totally don't get what you are implying JL.
Actually my sister said it maybe that dexter is having sex with the body, but the floating flying thing is mentioned again which in this time without even a body yet so it doesn't stand.what can I say.
ANd there are many lines I didn't show in here but I could tell that Mosercest in dexter the novel is kinda different from the series, like for example, dexter is more troubled than he is in the series, like he couldn't stop thinking, admiring his brother and he truly felt out of control because of his obsession with him he even starts to think if there's something wrong with his brain.and somehow they share a much deeper and invisible bond, they are connected like twins but more intensely.I feel like in the TVseries dexter just is having a good time playing with his brother like without him he may miss the thrill but it doesn't turn out to be like this troubled and obsessive like him in the books.
