I think my favorite thing about the backrooms movie is how much it doesn't hold your hand and over explain things to you. you as an audience member have to figure stuff out on your own via context clues and your own thought process.
It's something I really love to see, because I really love it when a film actually trusts the audience to listen and pay attention to the film and actually figure things out.
The film never throws too many questions that it becomes hard to figure out, the movie doesn't overwhelm you with lore and questions (which is also great) but it gives you enough questions for you to start wondering about the backrooms and you should feel about it.
I think the Backrooms was fantastic! I really enjoyed how they where able to get the uncomfortable feeling of The Backrooms across. Whenever the characters where there, I felt my heart starting to race.
Really glad to see Jorge dropping out of the AI project! Humans should be doing art, not AI
honestly about to throw myself at the nearest off-grid cult to get away from AI slop and data servers
It looks like he deleted his post of Twitter and Instagram. Maybe he is starting to realize he messed up? Oooor he is about to drop a post and triple down.
Its getting harder for me to keep my head above the water. I am so tired of seeing shifty AI slop, watching creators turn to it, and people fighting against data centers only to get ignored...
today we mourn for Jorge R. Gutierrez... he isn't dead, he just decided to throw away his art for AI Slop. So...yeah... Jokes aside, I really dont know if I can keep writing my fanfic after this. I am devastated that one of the animators I looked up to and who inspired me so much decided to turn to AI slop and throw away is integrity. Hope the paycheck was worth it...
... so I guess one of the biggest inspirations in my life is using AI for his art now. Idk if he is being forced into it by Amazon, but its still heart breaking all the more.
It was so important for the indie animation industry to have TADC in theaters. It would have helped paved the way for smaller studios to start fighting against the soulless slop of what Disney has become. Instead people are cheering that the episode got leaked because it was going to be a few weeks after the theater release it would be free on YouTube, people are returning their tickets in mass, and Goose has to face how horrible people are over a cartoon...
The fuck you mean The Backrooms movie got leaked after the TADC leak?
Absolutely adoring people drawing Gamoverse fanfare in which Farcade is trying to help actual videogame villains and Syntax helping villains
You know, seeing all that Goose has to go through for her show has made me really think about if I actually want to try and release my own personal story.
Its sad how people are treating TADC and how the internet is ruining fan culture as a whole.
He broke your heart again Washed up in a city of sin So you get fucked up and call your guru But he says he's through with you too So drugs become Jesus And Jesus becomes CrossFit Never not once did you sit alone And deal with your bullshit Back on your LA bullshit So money, beauty, power, fame Which flag did you want to claim Which tiger did you want to tame Which God by which name Everybody's got a reason they can't get to sleep Some drag racing down Mulholland Some medicating sheep In freedom's fated paradox Each door you open, another locks Each trigger pulled, another cocks Each new drug, just a countdown clock But I'll sell you something you can't buy I'll tell you something you haven't tried Flickers on a cave wall
The fanfic writer pulling her courage together to post a poster she did for The Midnight's song 'Sentinels' I saw the band live last night, and was unfortunately unable to meet the band as Axs had apparently taken my VIP 1 ticket away without me knowing until it was to late. But, a lot of people at the concert loved my art, so I am posting it! Hope you all enjoy!
Everyone agrees not to be the worse kind of fan in the theaters, right? Just go, enjoy The Last Act, and don't wreak the cinema.
I have to many ideas for my El Tigre fanfic, and now I am wondering if I want to rewrite it down a different path.
