internet edgy culture is just a way of desensitizing kids to facist dogwhistles. if you're young and you watch edgy YouTubers or consume edgy memes please remember that sometimes it's insidious and intended to radicalise you. always keep your empathy and your sympathy for minorities.
follow me @strawbwrryelf for content that is essentially the polar opposite of this blog. bad advertising I know but,,, yeah.

Sometimes I think about the fact that one of my favorite free prose pieces Iâve read in the past few months was a review of Parasite by Bong Joon Ho
âThere is a house on a hill, and there are people in it. And theyâre nice, but not really. There is a garden, and there they get a lot of sunlight. And it is nice, and they get to sleep there sometimes.
There is a house underground, and there are people in it. And theyâre the first to tell you that theyâre not very nice: theyâre con-men, grifters, forgers and imposters. They sit among stink bugs, and theyâve been there for so long that maybe theyâve convinced themselves that they just belong there.
There is a rock, and it is a gift, but it is also a burden. And maybe itâs a metaphor, but itâs also just a rock: solid and heavy, difficult to lug around, and dangerous in the wrong hands. Some people will tell you that itâs supposed to bring wealth. But again, itâs also just a rock.
There is a line, and it cannot be crossed.
There is a smell, and it comes from the underground. And the people who live in the house on the hill can smell it. And the people who live underground try to imagine a life in the sun, a future where they arenât just garbage to be washed away in the rain. But there is a smell that sticks to them, and they know that they can never really belong.
There is a world, and it is nice, but not really. There are houses on hills, and houses underground. There is plenty of sun, but it isnât for everybody. There are people grateful to be slaves, and people unhappy to be served. There are systems that we are born into, and they create these lines that cannot be crossed. And we all dream of something better, but weâve been living with these lines for so long that weâve convinced ourselves that there really isnât anything to be done.
There is a knife. And it doesnât do much in the long run, but there will always be some satisfaction in crossing some lines.â

like i see these tweets on twitter like âhey im 14 and i just got kicked out pls rt so i can find somewhere to stay im in x state/cityâ and like HOLY SHIT i cannot emphasize enough how incredibly dangerous this is. youâre broadcasting to EVERYONE that you are young, vulnerable, and desperate AND information on how to find you!!!! like i know you meant for that to be just for your friends on twitter but thatâs a public tweet!!! ANYONE could see it!!! like I saw it and i have no idea who you are you are not in my circle and yet!!! so like WHO ELSE has seen it!!!
Hi, it's Endymion. I went on a bit of a break recently for my mental health while I've had some revelations in my personal world. I now identify as bisexual, pronouns and such remaining the same and I now have a wonderful boyfriend. I'll continue to share things on this blog for the foreseeable future. Thanks to everyone who's followed me while I was gone!
Okay let's get this straight (heh) nonbinary people can't identify as a lesbian because that's female only and nonbinary people can't identify as gay because that's male only. Nonbinary people should instead use microlabels that most people have never heard of. However, microlabels are stupid and harmful and make the cishets angry (oh no /s). So, who wins here truscum? Certainly not nonbinary people.

well there is a microlabel called 'trixic' which stands for 'non-binary who is attracted to women' but it sounds like we're a fuckin fairy and as a punk teenager i don't think i'll ever use it so imma go with nb lesbian
I feel the same way! Also I've heard trixic used as another word for nblw which is a term that includes multisexual nbs and whilst I love my bisexual and pansexual buddies I am very much NOT attracted to men and I'd like that to be known.

Oh god I'm so sorry fjdkdjdjd
I've been talking with my ex-gf and she said she might want to get back together in the future when she has the time and energy to dedicate to me and that's such good news. But I'm also really worried because I feel like I have no guarantee, no set date or plan and as an autistic person that's hell for me. Aargh.
