THIS GUY GETS IT!!!
Rick Sanchez is an old man with gadgets, realistically he cant beat a lot of powerful fictional characters. He either just randomly has something come to him right at that moment or something in the surrounding environment helps him because of the writing and its hilarious, like the instance where he was getting his ass beat by that Zeus and the Zeus was about to kill him, then out of nowhere Morty and Summer accidentally drive that alien space ship into the Zeus's head. The most powerful superpower, the writer having fun and not giving a single shit lmao.

voted for tenna for tradition but ngl if senshi won i would have taken it as a sign that tumblr's grown good taste (a man who encourages good eating and respect to food). i will vote for him in the next competition
i'll be honest, my reasoning is mostly because i'm very late to the deltarune scene (i still haven't played it yet) and senshi is an incredibly healthy portrayal of a man, as you stated here. amd i simply don't know anything about tenna lol
also complete side note: senshi totally falls into my type realm, i love me a hairy man who loves to cook. get you a person who explains food and nutrition balance as foreplay
senshi won in my heart
sorry i just don't know you like that tenna

I really can and will blame the 9-5 for everything. "We're in a loneliness epidemic" well, we have to spend a third of our day interacting with people in a professional way that makes forming real friendships difficult and then we're peopled out by the time we're done. "People are eating more and more unhealthily" people have to spend more than a third of their day doing work related tasks and they don't want to spend their tiny amount of free time making food. "People aren't involved in their local communities" after spending more than a third of their day doing work related things people are tired and also all those community events take place during normal working hours. "People need to get more hobbies" after spending more than a third of their day working, people are TIRED and don't want to do anything that takes yet more energy. "Literacy is dying" to maintain your critical thinking skills you need to read/watch things that make you think and after spending more than a third of your day doing work related stuff you are TIRED and don't want to expend even more brainnpower. "People need to get outside more" People. Are. TIRED. Because they have to spend all of their time working or preparing for work or recovering from work or doing all the chores they couldn't stay on top of because of work. I can blame fucking anything on having to work, it is truly the root of all fucking evil.
i wrote this in my writing group! first time i've actually "finished" something, writing-wise, in a long time!

Eastbound and Shootinâ

âŠ..
It was high noon, but we werenât planninâ on a stand off. We were in the barn sweatinâ and swearinâ. My arms covered in hot muck, and my forehead drippinâ while I sit there yellinâ at the old bitch. Granpappyâs Gun laughinâ at me all the way.
âScreaminâ at her ainât gonna make her calve any faster!â It hemmed anâ hawed, as if he was slappinâ a knee. I payed him no mind and kept my attention on gettinâ this babe born. I went back in ready, a looped rope in my hands. I felt around til my fingers brushed against hoove. After the rope was carefully around the legs, I backed away from the hefty kine. Careful not to let my slick hands drop the rope, swiftly pulled âim into the world.Â
âNow laughinâ at me ainât gonna help neither.â My soapy water had run cold, damn near useless now. But I scrubbed anyway.
âOh, youâre right. Let me handle it next time!â Howling laughter filled the barn, spookinâ the new calf. Bullet may be a fine weapon, but he ainât got a lick a sense.Â
âYouâre just about as useful as prayinâ in the devilâs mouth. At least âround here. I just helped bring new life to this here farm, canât say you ever done that.âÂ
âNot exactly my specialty, partner!â He kept on laughinâ as I cleaned up the barn and resettled my holster. I was settlinâ my hat back on my head when I heard spurs and bootsteps approaching.
âMr. Tucker! Boy, am I glad to see you!â Old Reverend Jimâs voice became familiar over my shoulder. âI have a mighty fine job offer for you!â
âNow Jim, I know that you know I ainât a man to pry. But I donât want no trouble like last time.â I turned around a bit riled. The man did not seem to falter at my words.
âNow, now Haven. I told you that was a simple misunderstanding! Besides, I can assure you.â He placed a hand on my shoulder. I never did warm to Old Reverend Jim, and I certainly wasnât inclined to start now. âI will even give you double! Shorter distance! Its a steal! Come on!âÂ
âAh, donât worry about him. Weâll do it!â Bullet giggled from my holster, knowinâ full well what heâs just done.
âWonderful! Usual time, tomorrow then!â Reverend clapped his hands together in satisfaction. I cursed Granpappyâs Gun in my mind, although I was lookinâ forward to gettinâ behind the wheel of my olâ rig again.
âŠ..
It was scorching, the sun blisterinâ anything in sight. And I was itching to get on the road. âNother trek across this vast country. Kickinâ at dirt, and waitinâ on Jimâs boys to load my trailer with somethinâ. I donât care much for details as I donât pride myself on beinâ a nosy man. Though I knew Reverend wasnât a truly holy man. But Papa told me a long time ago there werenât many good men left in this country. He always told me that my Granpappy taught him to be one of them good men, and heâd be damned if I wasnât one too.
âIâll expect yâall back by tomorrow, now.â Reverend smiled at me one of them fake smiles, didnât reach his eyes, and thumped on my truck side. I never did understand that, it ainât a horse. No sense in usherinâ somethinâ that ainât gonna move. I threw a wave out the window, turned on my blessed radio and sped out into the desert.
Beinâ out here, underneath the stars reminds me of them pirate stories Pa would tell me. This uncharted land was vast, and dangerous. Untamed like a wild dog. And she would turn on you in an instant. The sand eruptinâ, the sky turninâ on you, and then them alien beasts. I could swear there was more wild creatures livinâ in this sand than in the whole sea. And Bullet loved it. In fact, he was the only reason I was able to be out here at all.
âYouâre keepinâ an eye out right? Oh man, Iâm itchinâ!â This was the only time he didnât commit all his usual tomfoolery, too anxious for a fight I always reckoned.
âAinât seen nothinâ yet. Youâll know soon as I do.â My grip tightened âround the wheel, I wasnât too keen on runninâ into anythinâ. I had no intention of makinâ the olâ Reverend sour with me by roughinâ up the cargo or beinâ late. I prided myself in beinâ a reliable man. Maybe thats why every man in this town has me doinâ his dirty work. But my Papa did the same before me, and Iâm a man of my word. And Bulletâs word, I suppose.
Outside the cab, the air was dry and I could see the clouds gettinâ gray. Common to see storms miles off out here. Itâd be a surprise to me if we ever saw hide or hair of it. Iâve only ever seen it rain once or twice in my whole life. Pa used to tell me thatâs âcause it rained when we werenât lookinâ. He told me that just like every man has his secrets so does the desert. Sheâll conceal everythinâ from you, keepinâ her darlinâs in the depths and the heavens âtil sheâs ready to crack the whip on an unsuspectinâ back.Â
Even though this desert is dry and full of creatures intendinâ you harm, there are some I do quite enjoy cominâ across. Although hanginâ around âem too long ainât a good idea. Them big ones got some sorta sense, they know what's movinâ on the surface. Itâs why I prefer to stay on the road. Seem to stay away from sturdier ground, always why I reckoned we didnât have too many problems in town.Â
I check the rearview, expectinâ to see dust and nothinâ. But some of them smaller flyinâ creatures, real bug-like but still the size of a cow, were hoverinâ round the back of the cargo. Whatever's back there, they like it. And theyâll follow a scent they like for miles, damn near days. I am quite fond of these buggies, used to catch âem as a boy. Or at least try. They don't wanna be caught, and'll fly above way over head, outta reach. Pa taught me how to lasso then, to pull âem down from the sky. No matter, they ainât a good sign right now. Donât want anything bigger on our trail.
âWe got company, but not what you're lookinâ for.â I cocked âim ready anyway, and he chittered at that. I stole a glance back in the mirror again, but the buggie was gone.
âWhat in the hell...?âÂ
When I turn back âround, a gargantuan tentacle looms over the road. I pull hard on the wheel, prayinâ my rig donât tip. My prayers in vain, as we go âround I can feel the ass end turninâ.
âPrepare yourself, weâre in for a ride!â I jammed my boot down hard on the gas. The idea beinâ to stop and straighten the trailer before she tipped. In the rearview, I watched the trailer begin to wobble and twist. âCome on, girl!â I was floorinâ it now, my knuckles white on the wheel. Checkinâ the mirror again, I watched her straighten out. âAtta girl! Okay, Bullet! Itâs time!â He was already in my hand and loaded, laughinâ his ass off. âIâve been waitinâ on you, pardner! It was time yesterday!â I snickered, and kicked the rig into auto-pilot. âNow, letâs get a good look at our ugly friend.â
I stuck Bullet out my side window, throwinâ a quick shot at the tentacle in front of us. As the shot's golden arch reached its target, I clambered my way through the cabin roof hatch. A bellow echoed through the air, and the tentacle lifted just enough for us to pass under.Â
âThe hell are you waitinâ for! Shoot me!â Grandpappyâs Gun was practically dragginâ me by the hand onto the roof. âI got sand in my eyes! Damn it, you are impatient!â The wind was strong and full of dust, even my weathered eyes had trouble at this speed. But I raised my arm and fired anyhow, Bullet didnât really need my eyes. Through my troubles, I watched the golden trails arch through the air, aimed at the beastâs giant loominâ eye.Â
The tentacles were racing towards us now, flying through the sand and gettinâ dangerously close.Â
âI think youâre losinâ your touch, my friend!â I had to yell over the wind, and I prayed he couldnât hear the nervousness in my voice. All he did was cackle in response.
âOh, just wait! Donât start doubtinâ me now!â While he carried on laughing I watched the tentacles start breaking up the hard ground âround the road, sending cracks into the asphalt.Â
A terrible screech echoed through the desert, makinâ me clasp my hands to my head. The air went still, and so did the damn tentacles. Dust clouded the air, shrouding the beast, it was sinkinâ back into the desert.
âHAHA! I told you to never doubt me, pardner!â I wrenched my left hand away from my head.Â
âGoddamn, I hate when you do that.â My ears rang as he giggled to himself and I clambered back down into the cabin.

Good morning everyone! Got some exciting news for you all. I've mentioned a few times that there is a Look Outside Community game jam in the works and last night my team and I were officially accepted into the project! We're going to be making one of the areas, and honestly I'm really pumped about it!
Now this does mean that I'm going to be extra busy this month since I'm gonna be working on that, but I'm still gonna be working on a new Look Outside Lore and speculations video! I'm so pumped for this one because it's gonna be covering Joel, his family, and a certain meat dimension. Placeholder name for the episode right now is. The Jaws of Apartment 32. Been working on the script off and on all week, but the more research that I do the more connections I find. So while I thought this was gonna be a shorter theory, I was quickly surprised at the implications this apartment has on some other parts of the building.
Lastly, I was really excited to see some new subs! Awesome to have you all along for the ride! I know that I take a bit between videos, and while I'd love to do more, time ends up being my limiting factor in most occasions. What can I say other than I prefer to take my time then just pump stuff out. Appreciate you all being patient with me as I figure all this out. Alrighty, need to get back to working on that script. Think I'm at the halfway mark...hopefully? As always thanks for taking the time to read! I'll catch you all in the next post my dudes! :D
