Eldurwen arts (sometimes)

A shiny new blog to display my artwork on! Everything posted here is either my own work, or a collaboration between another artist and myself. I'll be using the tag "casual doodles" for my messy unfinished sketches, so if you'd prefer to see only finished works, you can block that tag.

Mixed media (watercolor, gouache, ink and gel pens, and a hint of pencil) on mat board. It kinda fought me the whole way, and I'm not 100% satisfied with it. But I was trying a LOT of things outside of my norm--mat board not being a fantastic surface for wet medium, using significantly more gouache than usual, trying for a mostly lineless style to mimic some artists I follow, using a TON of black--so I feel like it was still a really valuable learning experience. :D

You kinda can't tell in the scan, but her eyeliner, lip ring, and buckle/hardware are all metallic paint (another fairly new thing for me).

Played with paints and some scrap paper~ Trying to get a better handle on gouache and how to use it alongside watercolors well. Also tested out a metallic watercolor! :3

Sunny shiny soda breeze~

Finally finished this painting I started agesss ago!! @revilis and I collaborated on the base sketch, then I painted in watercolors & inked in mulitliners.
