“Yeah, exactly I am a foot taller and a lot wider. I’m not quite that, but just about.” Jasper replied with a small shrug. He was hovering around 200 these days.  “Okay, well then go back to your original option of ordering what you think is good then.”

“If I had my heels on, it would be less than a foot,” she nodded, as if that was really going to make a difference on the size between them. “Maybe eight or nine inches instead.” She wasn’t that great at math. That was probably the easiest she could guess. “We’ll see. I’ll just see what you order and if it sounds decent, I’ll get the same.”

“It’s not for everyone. Some people just don’t have the patience for some of the stuff you have to read, and I get that. It can get a little exhausting even for me sometimes.”  Sam added with a chuckle.

“I love reading, but I always had problems writing about what I read or actually recollecting something. I don’t really know why. If I don’t have to answer it fully, I can easily think back, but writing a paper on a book was always so hard,” she admitted. She knew she wasn’t the best at school, but that was a bit of a frustrating thing for her.

 “Hm.. Is that the one in town?” He asked her out of curiosity as he had read the name somewhere in passing. He couldn’t locate it in his mind but he made a mental note to keep out for it in the future. “Right.. I certainly hope Ace behaves a lot more when he reaches the age of three.” He chuckled back at her. 

“Yeah, it’s a small shop, but it’s my baby. Slowly growing though. I’m starting to understand things and actually be able to help it grow.” Her shop was a sense of pride for her. It really was the only thing that made her feel somewhat special or important. “I read they still have puppy brains till they are around two. Which was true for Matty. If she doesn’t get her walk, she is awake, but I have a small yard so she gets to run around there.”

“I am twice your size and probably eat your weight in food in one day.” Jasper replied with a shrug. He had a fast metabolism, and it didn’t help that he went to the gym every day and burned off a lot of calories which made him have to eat more. “But if you aren’t worried about the amount of food than there is no reason you shouldn’t get the same thing as me.”

“You are definitely not twice my size. Maybe a foot taller, but you would have to be around 240 to be twice my weight. Which I guess is possible. Muscle does weigh more than fat,” she gave a small nod as she quickly scanned his body for a small moment. He definitely was built to where she had a feeling the weight would be all muscle with him. “I’m not worried. I just don’t know if I would trust your taste in food is all.”

“At least it worked out then.” Sam replied feeling it would suck if she had done all of that for nothing.  “Sometimes it is completely brutal, and other times it’s not too bad. It depends on the course.”

“It did. I love it now. I make some clothing and it’s just fun for me,” she smiled. “Yeah, I did business and fashion design and I definitely hated when I had to take the general lit classes, let alone majoring in it.”

“Oh right! Where do you work?” He added out of curiosity. “Yeah, Ace is still a puppy so he is still up during the night sometimes even though it is getting better. It is worse on the days when he hasn’t had a long enough walk.” He added with a shrug.

“I own Tres Chic Boutique,” she smiled softly. “It’s my little child.” Ellie nodded in thought as she listened. “Matilda is three, but she has her moments where she still acts like a puppy. It’s adorable when I don’t have to work the next day.” Of course, most of the time she just brought her dog to the boutique. It was nice to have her running around.

“I’ll have you know I have great taste in food.” Jasper replied shaking his head at her. “If you are worried about it being too much food you could always just keep it as leftovers, but I would be interested to see if you could eat as much as me.”

“Really?” A brow rose as she looked up at him. “I can eat a pretty good amount. I’m little, but that doesn’t mean much.” She definitely was about a foot shorter than him and he was much larger, but someone her size could probably meet at his level.

“I really do love staying home after a long day of work, but If I have one more night of Netflix and chill alone I might cry.” Alyssia joke, chuckling softly as she lifted her head to look at the other person. She didn’t mind her own company and a night inside, but she also missed seeing people and having a good time like she used to. Although she was exhausted to go out most nights or days off, she needed it for her mental health’s sake. “What are you up to?” She asked them curiously, playfully narrowing her eyes.”Please, say you’re up to something fun and I can tag along.” @ashtontnhqstarter​

Ellie rarely left the house outside of work. But when one of her employees told her to get out, the petite brunette finally agreed. Now she was sitting at the bar and just not feeling like she wanted to be there. While the woman beside her didn’t want a night in, that was all Eleanor was thinking about. “Me? Probably just going home and having some wine while watching a reality tv show. I’m not really he most social.”

“I can see how that would be exhausting.” Sam replied not sure he’d ever be able to do that himself. He lacked the discipline required. “I’m studying English Literature at the moment. My plan is to get a Masters in library science.” 

“It was, but worth it now,” she gave a small nod. Granted, it took a while for it to feel worth it, but it happened. “Oh, cool. I feel like that’s not really an easy major, so that’s pretty impressive.”

Trevor nodded back at her, “I take it you are going into work?” He asked her out of curiosity, “Because you look a lot more awake than I feel right about now, what much is for sure.” He chuckled back at her. 

“Yeah, I open in an hour,” she gave a small nod. She was still tired and the thought of opening was tiring, even though it was her place. “I’m getting there. Matilda decided that I needed to be awake half the night because she got her sleep while I’m at work. Which was great, but I got enough. I hope, anyway,’ she smiled softly.

“Then maybe just go with a pre-made wrap of some kind if you are worried about it.” Jasper replied with a small shrug. That wasn’t a problem he’d ever had himself. “Or I can order two of what I usually get and you can have one.”

Giving a small nod in thought, hazel eyes moved up. “I don’t know if I would trust what you order,” a smile formed as she gave a small tilt of her head. “I do like almost anything, so I guess I could take the risk. And I can probably eat as much as you, believe it or not.”

 Trevor looked up at the brunette, offering her an apologetic smile before nodding his head slowly, “Sorry, I um.. I just finished a long shift at work and I am clearly lacking caffeine in my system.” He chuckled back at her. 

“It’s okay. I was kind of zoning out myself, so we both were kind of in the bad there.” She wasn’t fully awake, thinking it was her food every time she saw a tray, even though she knew that wasn’t what she even ordered. “It’s that time of the morning. You’re either leaving work or going into work.”

“I hope I don’t have to do this log enough that I get used to it.” Sam replied shaking his head. He was exhausted and was already craving summer break at this point. “A few more hours of sleep sounds amazing, but I think I’d have to use the extra hours to do school work unfortunately.” He added shaking his head at the woman. 

“I’m starting to get my sleep again. But that’s the downside to starting a business,” she scrunched her face. “What are you studying?” Curiosity struck as she looked up at him, giving a slight tilt of her head. She probably was the type that asked too many questions, but she was always intrigued by things.

Trevor had just finished another long shift and it had gotten to the point where he could not remember the last time he ate. He had made his way to the diner close to the station. He was a sucker for a good, cooked breakfast and he had come to find that this place served one of the better once. He took a seat in one of the boots as his eyes began to scan the menu. When he spotted someone in the corner of his eye, he immediately began placing his order, “I’ll have a full breakfast, extra hash browns and a black coffee, please.” He said before looking up at the person close to him.

Coffee was Ellie’s vice. While there was a coffee shop beside her store, she liked to try new things, so she decided to do the diner. She wasn’t there for a while, so as she was standing and waiting for her coffee, she was walking by a table when someone started giving their order. “Oh, I don’t- I don’t work here,” she quickly shook her head as she looked at him.

Sam had been working a lot of extra hours at work lately because one of his co-workers had come down with the flu so he was covering shifts.  Due to this he had to stay up well into the night every night and it had been over a week since he’d had a decent amount of sleep. It was due to this that he was nearly falling asleep at the diner table while he waited for his coffee and breakfast. Sam nodded off for a second and opened his eyes to see someone looking at him. “Do you ever feel like there isn’t enough hours in the day?”

For some reason, the diner seemed like the right place to get a breakfast sandwich and coffee today, even though there was a coffee shop right beside her shop. As she stood silently and waited, her eyes stayed on her phone as she checked her email. Looking over when she thought she saw her food, she heard someone talking. “All the time. I could use a few more hours of sleep in the day, but I guess I just got used to it, in all honesty.”

“I guess that is fair. They do have some pre-made combos if you want to go down that route. But personally I don’t think it really takes them that much more effort to make something fresh, because they have all the ingredients already.”  Jasper replied with a small shrug. That wasn’t really the type of thing that he thought about much himself if he was being honest. 

“Yeah, true. Most of these kind of places have everything fresh and ready to be made. I’m just awkward and stumble over my words when I order because I feel put on the spot. Which is probably weird. I’m not one to want all the attention or anything,” she gave a small shrug with a smile.
