→ do you think it was easier back when your line was the only line of DWNs around, or do you like it better now that your line is less monitored and therefore more free?

“Well, we got a little bit more attention back in those days, but it’s not much. I honestly prefer having these other pricks around since my siblings are some of the worst people in this fortress.

And yeah, it is nice to have more freedom. You could make the argument that this takes away any care that the old man had for us and shifted it over to the other DWNs, but let’s be real, here: There’s no better example of his idea of, “This is an object that will do my bidding and help me achieve my goals,” as my entire line.

Copy us, throw us out into battle, repair us, and then don’t bother. Simple as that.”

→ why do you stay with wily?

“He’s basically forgotten that we exist at this point, so we have free range to do pretty much whatever we want, and we almost never have to work like the other DWNs do. It’s pretty nice.

Aside from that, it’s more practical. I’m sure as hell that nobody’s just gonna give an unknown ‘bot a place to stay, especially if they find out that we’re DWNs. I also get free repairs and charges here, along with protection. I can also do whatever I want and there’re plenty of people for me to harass here. It also gives me the occasional excuse to go out and wreck some havoc, even if I’m not interested in the reasons why.

Also, the kids are here.”

→ if you could have traded glitches with anyone, which of your siblings would you trade with?

“Nobody, considering that my glitch was probably the easiest to deal with out of all of them– S’just power overloads and a lack of a cap on my electricity. Everyone else was either on the constant verge of death or shutdown, and then the rest of ‘em were emotionally and psychologically screwed.

…If I had to pick one, uh…Cut’s, probably. Since I’m already a needy prick, I doubt that it would make much of a difference for me.”

“I actually don’t have too much of an opinion on them as a whole, but I’ll answer this anyway.

The second gens? The old man’s favorites because they were his first ‘real’ kids. Pretty decent bunch if you ask me. Flash especially considering Wily never wants to repair us and Flash is basically the resident parent for everyone around here.

Third gens I feel bad for because they have to deal with an idiot as a brother. Not only an idiot, but a hypocrite to boot. If there’s one thing that pisses me off, it’s hypocrites that act all high-and-mighty.

Fifth gens are about the sweetest out of all of us. Too bad they got their asses handed to them and work for humans now. That youngest kid in the line is basically pure sugar.

Seventh gens are where things start to get weird. They kinda stick to themselves, I think? They were the next ones to get booted off of Wily’s, “You’re my kids” list. I like Shade the best out of all of them because he acts all formal and stuff but then he acts like a little kid and antagonizes people. I can respect that.

Eighth gens are probably the most messed up out of all of us– Well, maybe aside from us copies– ‘Cos I’m pretty sure that they have glitches up the ass but nobody’s bothered to fix them yet. I do like Clown, though. He’s a jerk.”
