FINALLY got the free time to finish these two in the turmoil that is my life- hopefully the last two prompts off the list are soon to follow

Decided to draw my two favorite characters bc what else are you supposed to do when you're bored but wanna draw?

I'm so insane about them actually they're everything to me. I'm genuinely so excited for their upcoming story arcs I can't wait to see what kinda stuff the plot is gonna throw at them next bc from the clues and little plot hooks that have been laid out so far, it looks like they are not gonna be having a good time and I'm so here for it. Like I still haven't forgotten about that PI Oz and Felix encountered (Talson was his name I believe) and I am still anxiously wondering if and when he's gonna show up at the sick house like Oswald warned. Fanny kinda got in the clear recently but I can't shake the feeling that it's a false calm before the storm, idk, I'm just really excited to see whats in store for them!

Also some quick ramblings about abt some thoughts I had drawing them under the cut

Felix pisses me off so much like genuinely like I cannot find a way to draw this man in a way I like why is he so difficult to draw for literally no reason. Why is he like this.

I also struggled with Fanny quite a bit to when I was figuring out how I wanted to draw her bc I know what kinda of eyes I wanted to give her but I struggled with making those eyes match with the rabbit nose/muzzle bc I was not about to compromise on that. In the end I did land on a balance I like though!

Although I still have some issues, mainly with her short curly bob, I do like the hair I've drawn and I think it's cute, but my main issue is that, at least imo it makes her look less like a cartoon/anthropomorphized rabbit and more like a human with some rabbit features slapped on, which is not a design I love personally. It's why I drew her without the hairstyle and I like that look a lot better bc I think it gives her a more distinctive silhouette and she looks more like a rabbit, but at the same time I really do like the hair, I just down know how to find the right balance to add her hair but not make her fall into that sorta uncanny valley territory. Oh well, until I figure that out I'll probably be sticking to drawing her without her bob.

Finally got around to some doodles for Trans Fem Bendy!!!

Some hcs below ;3

-As seen above the Cupbros are the first to figure out she might be trans, bc Cup is transmasc and Mugs is sitting there like "I've seen this before"

-The first time Bendy went out all dressed up she was pretty insecure, luckily she had the questers there to help her feel more confident

-She ended up changing from a shirt and slacks to coveralls, since it gave her a more feminine figure while not getting in her way while working. She still keeps the jacket and gloves she got from Murklin

-Demon gang didn't even question it just went "Ah. Okay so your pronouns are she/her" which threw Bendy through a whole loop

-She might've chosen to talk and then come out to the demon squad, but Cuphead Knew the whole time. Partly bc of what I mentioned earlier and partly bc of the soulbond emotions lol

-"Cup I'm a girl" "Ya I knew." ". . . What the cuss do you mean "you knew"!?"

-Although all of the questers were understanding Holly and Boris were very confused [1920s] but they were always supportive

-Despite being confused Holly offered to help Bendy with makeup and taught her how to do it

-Bendy grew out her hair a little but not enough to get in her way

-Bendy either still goes by Bendy but is called Bendy BSis Cat instead

-Hat is surprisingly the most helpful for Bendy during transition. In a "Ya here's this obvious thing 🙄🙄" kinda way

-Alice blushing whenever she sees Bendy dressed up and pretty and then smothering her in compliments

-Once someone said Bendy is "a cute little lady", Bendy was really upset about that because she isn't little

-Bendy gives up on heels for awhile because of how hard it is to walk in them and how impactical they are. Eventually she tries again later

Bc I remember Cup does get jealous, except he doesn't know it's jealousy and excuses it as protection which makes him 20x more stupid

I haven't posted about this this quite a long time! Almost 2 years! Though, I doubt I still have many followers from when I was working on IMA, I still wanted to post this here since TikTok was going feral over these guys (cough cough Cuphead cough cough).

Originally this was just meant to be a redesign of the BABTQFTIM designs... but I got attached, then my friends got attached, and this might've became a whole AU... (ᵕ—ᗜ—)

I'm sure that it's obvious from some that their roles have changed.

Not sure if it'll actually go anywhere, I definitely still have a lot I need to iron out in both characters and story, but if I like where I take it and can bear showing it to people, maybe!

(Some quick context: BABTQFTIM was an ask blog from 2017 that was basically a giant crossover between a lot of classic cartoon and rubberhose characters. Some modern characters were featured as well. In this world they had a deadly disease called "Ink Illness" in which the only cure was the Ink Machine. The machine was hidden away for whatever reason and the main cast had to find it.)

What would happen if Felix had contracted Ink Disease?

I know it sounds silly, but it's brilliant when you think about it for more than a second.

But I was recently talking about this with someone who, interestingly, shares my point of view, and it was both wonderful and surprising that they realized the same thing I did. It's something no one talked about when it happened in Inky Mystery: the revelation that Felix was on the verge of contracting the disease. I mean, no one said anything about it, what it implied for the entire future development of the fic, or at least I didn't find any posts or anything like that that focused on it. That consequence that Felix almost suffered from exposing himself so much while participating in the search would have had a huge impact (obviously from my point of view; maybe it wouldn't have affected the world of Inky Mystery that much), but it would have given us a level of anxiety we haven't experienced in a long time (although this fanfic, with all the anxiety, has made me a little paranoid, haha).

Felix is ​​a main character; his role is fundamental to Bendy's development, as he's a father figure. In fact, the illness would have ruined his plans to be a family with Bendy and Boris, as everything would have fallen apart. The cat wouldn't have a long future to enjoy with the boys, and they would be orphans again, but it would be worse now because there was someone who loved them and gave them a home so they could feel it was their own, and they would lose him in such a heartbreaking way that it's like bad luck at that point in the Bbros' lives. They would be orphans again due to a tragic loss, not by choice as in the past.

Oh!

And if we're talking about characters affected by this plot twist, let's not forget Oswald. By that point in the story, the rabbit was already quite close to Felix, so imagine how Oswald felt knowing he could lose the cat at any moment, especially after the revelation of his own romantic feelings for Felix (if you haven't reached that point in the plot, sorry for the spoiler). Oswald's brother is sick, and now Felix is ​​also going to fall ill. It would be a devastating blow to his heart. I think he would be consumed by desperation to find a cure as quickly as possible, frustration at not being able to do anything to help, and worry that Felix would continue to put himself at risk even though he's sick, since it's obvious the adventurer isn't going to abandon the search just because he's ill.

They would likely face a tragic end, so fans of this pairing would have had to get their tissues ready to cry over it. Mercowe and Tap are sadistic, and since they know we love that couple so much, I have a feeling they would have killed Felix, possibly after Oswald accepted his feelings for Felix and maybe after other events. Although the couple would never have gotten anywhere, not even secretly (you know, because of the homophobia of the time), since the adventurer's death would have cut short their developing romance… or maybe all the anguish in the fic has messed with my head :) I still haven't gotten over some of the deaths, hahaha.

Then there's Sheba. I'll just say that I think it would have been a shock when she found out, an emotional turmoil she would have tried to handle as best she could so as not to be a burden to Felix. She would lose her best friend, not just an acquaintance, but someone she connected with to the point of seeing him as a brother. It would be painful to see him and realize that at any moment she could lose someone who was once a little kitten hiding behind her, someone she felt she had to protect. No more new books from Felix would arrive to sell, there would be no more visits or talks with him.

So it would have been awful, since Felix has made things easier for his team in the search, and he's also the adult among the youngsters and has had a positive impact on the other characters, like Cuphead and Mugman, who were hurt by his rejection when he found out they were at the scene of his mentor's death and had been chasing him. Or maybe Holly (it makes me laugh that they repeatedly mistake him for her father, but it makes sense that this confusion occurs; Felix has that air of maturity, family leadership, and warmth that fits the image of a kindly dad, something everyone can see more clearly than he does).

Something curious I mentioned to that other person was that Felix's sister, Nora, might join the search to help save him. Yes, she's a zany, and there's all that joking around, and it's also true that Felix is ​​only now reconnecting with his family, but I understand that she loves Felix enough to want to do something to avoid losing him forever.

Felix's motivations, his resolve, and his character development would have been interesting to read, since he would have had to accept the inevitable possibility of dying soon, which would weigh heavily on him, as it's not easy to accept and would shatter all his plans. It would have strengthened his determination to keep going in finding the cure, reconnecting with his family, and tying up loose ends.

If he had died from the disease, it would have been an abrupt and tragic end, a tragic end for a legend.

It took me a while to write this, given how much Inky Mystery has progressed since that point in the story, but I did it. Better late than never.
