âAlways, my dear, always.â
However, itâs not lost upon the vixen the tell tale signs of her beloved rabbits depression && loneliness. In truth, Ahri had been gone much longer than she had ever wished for && despite her attempts to keep the maid close to her via every method of long distance communication â It wasnât enough.
Not for one of Primroseâs kind nor for any relationship in general.
Thus Ahri was glad the tour had come to an end so she could finally have long over due R&R, on top of getting to finally dote && love && care for her beloved in every possible way.
âForgive me, Primrose, Iâve been away for too long and thus have neglected you.â
The playful, flirtatious tone now drops to the floor as if weighted down by a cinderblock. Instead, a much more solemn vixen stands there, a hand gently resting upon Primroseâs cheek, as golden eyes study her. Gaze clouds a moment, a distant painful memory having resurfaced for but a moment. Ahri shoves it down â It served no place here, it had no power in this moment. This was here && now, not the regrets of the past && nothing like THAT had occured here. Primrose was alive, she was in her embrace, && Ahri wasnât letting her go.
âCome along, itâs time for some majorly overdue snuggling and perhaps some snu snu.â
Words out upon the air between them, the fox moves to easily scoop up the rabbit, taking her prey to their bedroom so they could be alone.
Akali, in the background, could be seen pulling out her phone && texting True Damage if she could stay the night. It seems she fears what potentially might happen && âwants none of this shit.â. Â
She knew. Ahri knew and Prim felt a little stupid for trying to hide that small hint. That little glimmer of heartache. Even more stupid still for opting for secrecy over communication. Something she herself preached heavily. Worse in her book was the sin of the momentary heartache Ahri had silently displayed as a result of her own self.
Yet there was no time to outright say she forgave Ahri. Sheâd done nothing worth apologizing for, neither had Primrose but she felt like she had. Instead what came was her girlfriend picking her up and promising snuggles... and potential coitus. All of which only served to give her embarrassment greater strength and burn with greater intensity.
âA-Ahri!!â She let out in a loud voice. âC-Come on now, I-I may have been without you for so long b-but Iâm not that kind of a woman!â
Despite her protest a maid had happened to pass the pair as Ahri made her way to the bedroom the pair shared. Seeing the situation had made her giggle and at first sheâd said nothing. Until she was a few feet down the hall.
âWith all due respect Primrose, you are a fine Head Maid, a wonderful caretaker, and a very prim woman. Yet even so there is not a soul in this mansion that has forgotten what you are like in the bedroom when your switch is properly flipped. Is that not why you installed means of dampening sound in your bedroom? I can scarcely believe it was solely to keep noise pollution down while you listened to Ahriâs music.â
Primroseâs eyes had went wide at the playful insubordination. There was no way for her face to get any more red, but it did get several degrees warmer. Her jaw had even been left agape as very private details had just been shared.
Yet it was not just the damping work within the interior of the walls that had changed in the room. The furniture had been re-arranged. The king bed Ahri bought for them in their first week together was no longer centered on the back wall with a nightstand on either side. It now ran snug against a plush accent wall while a larger nightstand sat beside it, a lamp, alarm clock, and photo the pair took together neatly arranged atop it. The cute little window just beside it had been expanded into a bay window with heart pillows in the colors of pink and blue sitting upon a fleece blanket in the large sill. A change made because Ahri had mentioned one day how sheâd have loved to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with a book in one during a rainy day. There was a bookshelf that held all the different kinds of memorabilia from her girlfriendâs music career and another full of books, yet it was clear that a lot of empty space had been left in the room for Ahri to further personalize.Â
On the wall near the bedroom door was a pair of french doors that werenât there before. Beside it was a chaise lounge, the opposing side having the space belong to an antique vanity with a plush seat tucked beneath it for space. Behind the doors the adjacent bedroom had been turned into completely remodeled into a partial walk-in closet as well as a deluxe on-suite. It was complete with a walk-in shower free from walls and a rain shower head. There was a large whirlpool tub built custom to make sure Ahri could fit her tails with ease as well as a large double vanity and accompanying mirror. All these modernized and glamourous things left to be a surprise from Primrose to her partner.
