While I'm waiting for the results of THE POLL that will decide the themes for each of the four weeks of Surprise Elejah Month, I was wondering what to do about the extra days on both sides of the event.

Here are some of my ideas for what could be scheduled for August 1 and 2, and August 31.

No Theme, FREE-FOR-ALL - Everyone posts as much Elejah content as they want, with whatever focus they want.

Adopting Orphaned Prompts - I make a post encouraging everyone to send asks with their fic/gif/edit requests during the next two months, that I then post as soon as I get them, and anyone that is interested in filling out the prompt can "adopt" it, to then publish it either before or after the main event.

Fave Stuff Rec Party - People can post lists with links to their favorite older Elejah fanworks.

Lost, But Not Forgotten - Everyone can pick a theme that didn't get chosen by the poll and make something for it anyway.

Comment(alooza) - Everyone is encouraged to leave new comments on all their favorite Elejah works (not constrained to only the fanworks created for the event).

Adrenaline Jolt to the WIP - Update one of your old Elejah WIPs, or finish and post one of the half-done fanworks that's been slumbering in your drafts for forever.

I know I talked about Elijah's "Hello, there" to Elena. But Elena's "Elijah" when seeing him is also up there with Elijah's "I hope to see you again sometime soon"

Find it funny and interesting how when they first introduce Elijah to Elena, Rose basically says along the lines that he's gonna be her worst nightmare.

Only for him to be the only Mikaelson that Elena has no grudge against with him holding some soft spot for her, and getting told from Elijah, Always and Forever, something I think Elijah's only told his family. I haven't seen the originals yet so I could be wrong.

But it is still kind of interesting that Elijah is the only Mikaelson Elena doesn't harbor any sort of hate towards. Elena helps in killing Finn and Kol and has constant hate towards Rebekah and Klaus, but nothing towards Elijah.
