I am genuinely sorry for this, but my sister is dying. (I am redoing this entire post because despite the almost 13k notes, not enough help is coming. I have been posting/reblogging for almost 8 months to gather enough funds for her medication and now a much-needed surgery, but the fundraising post remains quite stagnant.) If I could only ask for your permission one by one, I genuinely would, but I am afraid of the possibility that Tumblr may consider our plea as spam. My older sister's health has declined drastically since the last week of December 2024, which is why I decided to take over this account as per her request. We never intended to resort to asking for monetary assistance online but we still don't have the funds to get her through. As I have mentioned above, you can look into this account's pinned post to see how deformed her right hand was (if you needed the not blurred one, please let me know because I cannot possibly upload the actual picture because her account might end up getting taken down) plus it can be quite graphic.
The entirety of her right arm was not only swollen, but blood kept seeping out of her knuckles, her palm, and her elbow. Protruding tumors/swelling have reached both of her breasts, too, and are affecting her shoulder/shoulder blades and even her spine, and now her neck. As I have said, please reach out to me if you want to see more proof/health updates because I cannot post the photos here as they are somewhat too graphic. There's a lot of blood loss.

These are just my personal interpretations, but Tongues & Teeth is about the singer warning the (seemingly emotionally attached) subject that their unhealthy habits would place them in a toxic relationship. weathergirl, on the other hand, is about the singer yearning for the love of someone that already moved on long ago
now here's how i think would happen if i tweak the stories of the songs to connect; the T&T speaker and Eleanor used to be close friends when they were younger, but as they grew older Eleanor started developing feelings for the other. Unfortunately for her, that was also when the T&T speaker started developing their unhealthy habits. Because of this, the speaker and Eleanor had a friendship break up and haven't interacted with eachother ever since, but they havent changed their ways; While Eleanor continues to feel the aching need to go back to their ex-friend/crush, the T&T speaker can't seem to break out of their unhealthy habits
