I want to state, for the record, that “all the avengers would live together in the tower” wasn’t collective headcanon, it was canon. The very last scene of Avengers (2012), the one they left us on, is Tony redesigning the tower, designing a living area for each Avenger. That was, canonically, what was supposed to happen, in canon, and they just changed their minds and decided to… not. For whatever goldarn reason.

speaking of making characters skinny a thing people tend to do often subconsciously but sometimes theyll straight up say it LMAO is associating certain body types with certain personalities. ah yes v shelby is cute and innocent thats why shes short and thin and bird like. tf legs is a pathetic absolutely sopping wet beast so people tend to draw him shorter and thinner than his reference art. very curious! would they be less cute or sopping wet if they were taller or fatter? what does that mean for characters that you Cant make shorter or thinner? would you still call a tall fat girl cute and innocent? why or why not?

There are a few quantifiable differences if you average out every woman and every man, but they are not qualitative. And most of them are socially constructed, and would be fixed if we started treating men and women the same. Neither is inherently smarter, neither is inherently kinder, neither is inherently more stoic or stronger or angrier or softer. with the way tfpyro ended his letter back home commenting on how his father's writing has improved and saying that Igna being 7 years old doesn't mean anyone has actually taught her how to read heavily implies that education in Tegrith isn't... the greatest. and it really makes me wonder how well read pyro was before he left home and how much he had to catch up on when he got to Moffa. How well could he read and write? How much did he have to learn on the road?

and if he did struggle with it, It gives a lot more context to his "wizard speak". Like he clearly went to greath lengths to learn how to speak eloquently to compensate for receiving a less than stellar education growing up, and it was most definitely necessary for any position they wanted to hold on the local council (and obviously being seen as capable and competent to other people is important to him). I can very easily imagine him specifically studying how the people around him talked and popular literature in Moffa to expand his vocabulary. he gets teased for it a lot but it makes sense that he wouldn't want to give anyone a single reason to dismiss him.

It also makes me look at how vocal pyro is about sharing information and keeping people up to date differently. He knows what it's like to be in a new place with a completely different culture while trying to play catch up with everyone else. He just wants everyone to be on the same page with all the knowledge currently available and helps anyone who seems like they're lagging behind (to the point where one could argue he's being a little too free with certain information). it's a trait that endears me to him even more lol I love you characters who extend a helping hand because they know what it's like to struggle.

i hate how many posts about trans women deserving respect always devolve into "I love girldick" or "trans rights but I don't want to date a trans person" because that's entirely unrelated to the topic at hand. you should not respond to feminism with "YESSS I loveeee you because I see you as nothing but a sex object" you people sound like other men I get stuck talking with that end up saying "free the nipple so I can see boobies in public" and thinking they're feminists. why can't we just respect women regardless of your attraction to them or not. why does it need to be brought up in every conversation regarding their rights
