Glee Headcanons That Follow Absolutely No Theme
• Marley doesn't like Rachel. even before she'd met Rachel she didn't like her, and it only got worse after Rachel accidentally called her Maude instead of Marley.
• the first time that Puck kissed a guy, he said "no homo" afterwards. he told Kurt about it and Kurt still hasn't let it go.
• Tina hates Mr. Schue more than anybody else that's been in the Glee Club.
• Santana never told Brittany that she slept with Quinn, not because she was purposely withholding that information from her, but just because she didn't find it important enough to mention. Brittany found out when Quinn drunkenly mentioned it a couple years later, thinking Santana had already told her. Brittany, being Brittany, didn't really care anyway, and instead said that she was surprised that it was Santana and not Rachel.
• St. Berry ended up divorcing eventually, but they never stopped being friends. they're kinda stuck with each other at this point, whether it be romantic or platonic. Jesse still never approves of any of Rachel's partners, though.
• Kurt's skin is always super cold. even when it's hot outside, which Blaine absolutely loves.
• countering that, Santana's skin is always ridiculously warm, ESPECIALLY in the winter time, and Brittany absolutely loves it.
• both Jake and Mike went on to become professional dance choreographers. Brittany had that choice, but she doesn't really like choreographing, so she went on to become a very highly sought after backup dancer.
• Kurt has starred in SEVERAL movies and stage shows as the (very straight and masculine™) romantic lead. he sends Artie a poster or a playbill from these shows every time he does them.
• Artie has directed a movie based on the Glee Club. he enlisted Tina to play Rachel after she told him about her hallucination. Rachel didn't like that at first, but grew to appreciate it eventually.
Reblog if you think teachers are capable of bullying students!
Proving a point to so many people who say they dont
reblog if you need a big hug right now
After getting out of a toxic, abusive, manipulative, or what have you, kind of relationship, friendship, etc,
It’s okay to miss them
It’s okay to miss what you had
It’s okay to wish it didn’t happen that way
It’s okay to to be upset about how they treated you
Ita okay to be upset about it being over
It’s okay to be angry about how they treated you
It’s okay to have feelings about the situation and even about them still.
It’s okay to cry about it even though it’s over, or cry about it even because it’s over.
You can cry, you can get mad, you can express your emotions.
It’s okay.
But it’s not okay to go back to them. It’s not okay to apologize to them for how they treated you. It’s not okay to hurt other people because of how they hurt you. And it’s not okay to hurt yourself.
Please please please I know that you might still be hurting from them and from what they did and becuase it’s over, but the hurt won’t last forever. You’ll heal and you’ll be better.
They don’t deserve you.
You deserve better. You deserve good things. You deserve healthy love and healthy friendships and healthy activities.
I hope moving on, even if it’s painful, comes to you soon. I hope you’ll start to feel better soon. I hope you feel like you can go on, soon. <3
Lady Gaga’s Chromatica
my personal and unbiased opinion. enjoy!
— chromatica I : THIS opener ... incredibly gorgeous instrumental. this is how you open an album.
— alice : i love this song. probably my favourite off the album, which is not a surprise considering that i am a sucker for references. it was very clever to put it at the top of the track list since it sets the mood for the rest of the album and it makes you want to listen to more. beautiful vocals and harmonies.
— stupid love : i actually really like this song, even though it is the weakest one. i think it’s very catchy despite the production being a little bit all over the place. i still don’t understand why it was chosen as the lead single, it doesn’t make justice to the album at ALL.
— rain on me : this track. oh my god. new years for the gays and the girls honestly. when it was announced i was a little worried since i didn’t know how their voices were going to go together and stupid love wasn’t the best record ... however they proved me wrong. the production, the vocals, the lyrics, everything is amazing. it’s such an uplifting song and i am so happy gaga collaborated with ariana and gave us this pop perfection. coming for #1 in the hot 100.
— free woman : the message is so important and it made the feminist in me empowered! the only problem i have with this song is the beat. i like the build up but i feel like the chorus could be much stronger, making it much more of a standout, and more empowering. lowkey feels like a calvin harris song.
— fun tonight : again, i love the build up into the chorus of this song. it starts very chill but as it goes on it becomes stronger. definitely one of my favourite produced tracks.
— chromatica II : THIS INTERLUDE AND THE TRANSITION INTO 911. I AM LIVING. OMG.
— 911 : !!!! this song reminds me so much of the old gaga. i love the robotic effect in her voice, it never gets old. the chorus has been stuck in my mind since it came out, by far one of the highlights on this album, no wonder it’s one of everyone’s favourites!
— plastic doll : now this is what free woman tried (and failed) to be. the feminist anthem we all were waiting for. i love this song and i’ll always come back to it. lyrics and production are 10/10! ugh her mind it amazes me sometimes
— sour candy : this is such a great and sweet song, the lyrics are catchy and blackpink definitely steals the spotlight. when they sing in korean ???? ma’am i have no clue what you’re saying but i am LOVING it. i do feel like i would appreciate it more if it wasn’t a sample tho ... however they did a much better job with it than the producers behind katy perry’s 2017 single “swish swish”. i also would’ve liked for the song to have a beat drop at the end, it would make it much more fun
— enigma : this song is ?? SO GOOD ?? i don’t get why people on my twitter don’t like it. the bridge is one of my favourite parts of the song.
— replay : YES GAGA GO OFF. this song is AMAZING. the lyrics? the bridge? the build up from the chorus into the beat drop? ugh bravo to BURNS for producing this. one of the best.
— chromatica III : i love these instrumentals so so much. they are so pretty.
— sine from above : TALENTED BRILLIANT INCREDIBLE AMAZING SHOW-STOPPING SPECTACULAR NEVER-THE-SAME TOTALLY UNIQUE COMPLETELY-NEVER-BEEN-DONE-BEFORE. i don’t have enough words to describe this song. it is just so perfect from beginning to end. gaga and elton truly embodied how a duet is supposed to be. plus the end? amazing. this song is genius. god tier.
— 1000 doves : i’ve seen a lot of people losing it over this song. in my opinion, even though i really like it, the song can come across as generic. it also is lowkey forgettable considering it’s very low in the track list.
— babylon : the first time i listened to this song i disliked it. listening to it again it’s not that bad. however i don’t consider it one of the highlights of the album. the chorus reminds me of the bridge in madonna’s “vogue”. good choice for the closing track.
So far, this is the best album released in 2020. It is a very uplifting, really well thought album. I like the fact that it is designed to be listened to in order. The transitions from song to song and the bridges are outstanding. The album is very different from Joanne, there’s no ballads, every song is a dance track and the producers did an amazing job. I am so happy for Gaga, it’s very clear that the process of this record made her close some dark chapters in her life.
Little Monsters, I hope you enjoy the world of Chromatica! The album definitely is an experience.
best songs: alice, rain on me, 911, plastic doll, enigma, replay, sine from above.
This is why I don’t tell 99% people im bisexual
I love how gay people do it too. Just… really? You’re literally saying the same shit to bisexuals that straight people say to you, and you don’t see the hypocrisy?
If youre biphobic or hate bisexuals, fucking unfollow me, for serious.

I dont think I truly understood how much elena means to me as representation, but to see a young lesbian who proudly defines herself by her sexuality and is the very encapsulation of what it is to be a baby lesbian is wonderful. Elena is the epitome of baby dykery, where you’re so excited to tell the world you’re a lesbian and you make everything gay to the point where people think it’s annoying. I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen that reflected in a tv character?
Like anyone who thinks elena is annoying for being “too gay” doesn’t seem to understand how fucking rare it is to see a character who isn’t just gay, but is aggressively and unapologetically gay. We’ve had to slog through so many arcs of ashamed lesbians or women who “don’t like labels” or women whose identity as a lesbian begins and ends with her relationship to a lady she has subzero chemistry with, and how fucking NICE is it that Elena gets to be overtly, proudly, obnoxiously gay? Because out of most lesbian characters I’ve seen, elena is the first one that feels like a an almost direct reflection of what it was like to discover my sexuality. And I can tell whoever writes this show did their homework and I am extremely grateful for that.
Representation is inportant people!!
this !!!
i just thought of a term lesbians can coin
wait for it...

anyway here’s your reminder that lgbt muslims exist and islamophobia shouldnt be tolerated within lgbt communities!
shout out to lgbt muslims living in places where our identities are still criminalised.
btw i encourage everyone especially non muslim lgbt ppl to reblog this. if you see islamophobia within the community, you should help us instead of telling us our religion is ‘horrible’
Selena Gomez’s Rare
my personal and unbiased opinion. enjoy!
— rare: first of all, i love how the title track is the album opener, she did it with revival too and it’s a little thing that i like. anyway i think this song is a cute bop. very catchy. i like how she sees herself as a unique person and wants people to recognise that as well, can relate to that tbh. the song sets the mood for the rest of the album and makes you want to listen to the rest, which is great.
— dance again: this was my original favourite song off the album, and i still consider it one of the stand out tracks. it makes you want to dance and i can definitely see myself still bopping to it once the album hype is over. this songs seems like a scrap from “when the sun goes down” now that i’m listening to it again jsjsjs, love the concept btw.
— look at her now: we all know this one. was shocked when selena released this song since i didn’t expect to have the second single that fast lmao. the ama ama ama part makes the song seem lazy but in my opinion the lyrics kinda fix that. very happy the selenators got this song tho! selena said it was important for them to know how she was feeling and i agree with that.
— lose you to love me: i didn’t like it at first, it didn’t seem powerful enough for a comeback single but the lyrics ... miss gomez snapped. healing anthem 100%. now that i’ve got used to it, i like it, i can see myself listening to this song voluntarily. feels like the heart wants what it wants and kill em with kindness had a child.
— ring: oof i LOVE her. kind of a jazzy song which i love and her voice fits so well. would love for it to be longer and can’t help but think of how amazing a music video would be. can totally picture it being in a bar, 80’s style.
— vulnerable: when the album got leaked this one seemed to be everyone’s fav so i was excited to listen to it. it’s a nice song i can see why people like it so much, i like the production and i don’t know why but when i listen to this song i only think about how much her voice has changed from “SG & the scene” to now jsjs.
— people you know: this is my friend’s favourite and i understand why! the concept of this song is great, definitely a go to song for when you’ve lost a friend. her voice sounds pretty here. one of the stand out tracks. (specially since track 7’s are usually a disappointment no matter what artist/band we are talking about...)
— let me get me: this song is FUN, but even though i’ve seen people claiming it, i think she’s pretty forgettable specially since it isn’t very high on the track list.
— crowded room: while listening to this song, i’m waiting for something that never happens. i’m waiting for the song to explode but it just doesn’t. this song’s kinda boring tbh
— kinda crazy: love the rhythm, selena kind of lost me with crowded room but got me back with this one. very very catchy song thanks to the chorus. “i think you’re kinda crazy and not the good kind baby” ?? sis really gave zero fucks while writing this song huh? as she should!
— fun: ooohhh meet bad liar’s younger sister! not many people like this song but i think is fun, not a stand out but not a skip either. i like the bridge.
— cut you off: k i’ve listened to this song four times and i still don’t remember it lol but HOW COULD I CONFUSE THAT SHIT WITH LOVE ?? PERIOOOOD GO OFF QUEEN. if it wasn’t for that lyric the song would be forgettable tho. not much to say about this one.
— a sweeter place: i personally think this was a good choice to finish off the album. her voice is auto tuned but it fits with the song’s vibe so i don’t mind it. heard this one’s gonna have a mv? i don’t think it’ll do bad as a single so i’m excited to see what they come up with! for some reason this song reminds of me space so i think a galaxy theme could work here.
favourites: rare, dance again, ring, people you know
least favourites: let me get me, crowded room, cut you off
Overall, this is Selena’s first cohesive album, but does that mean it’s her best? no. Revival remains her best piece of work to date. Before writing this I read another reviews and I actually agree with one of the things that were stated, “Selena wasn’t looking to make commercial hits, she just wanted to take things off her chest”. I think that’s the case to be honest, can totally see her development as a songwriter, and after everything that woman’s been through it’s understandable.
This album doesn’t have many stand out tracks but as an album it works. The transition from Revival to Rare is amazing, going from wanting to be good enough for someone else to realising you’re “rare” and loving yourself? yes! i’m here for the healing and the growing theme. I know selenators have been waiting for this for 4 years tho so happy listening!! Selena looks very happy as well and that’s what’s important. she seems healthier, very proud of her.

How ODDAT portrays teenagers/teenage relationships
- they aren’t overtly sexualized, dress their age, and act the ways most normal teenagers act
- their relationship does involve sex- but any mention of it is about issues of consent and understanding healthy relationships. Also, no overly sexual aspects of their relationship is showed on screen BECAUSE THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE CHILDREN
Now for Riverdale characters who are THE EXACT SAME AGE as Elena and Syd
- promotes unrealistic body standereds
- overly sexulizes characters who are under 18
- shows teenage sex on screen involving strip teases for grown ass men, pedophilia (in the first damn episode), and BDSM elements
Essentially- Elena ans Syd were made for teens to relate to and to see themselves in. Like all aspects of ODAAT the teenaged characters are diverse, struggle with real problems, and represent realistic expectations for teenagers to look and act.
However, Riverdale is meant to sexualize teenage characters and fosters many harmful expectations in its young audience.
So, WHY is Riverdale being renewed again and ODAAT isn’t??
Umbridge: You have no idea what I’m capable of!
McGonagall: Don’t take it personally, but I feel like I’m being threatened by a cupcake.
we really never got any glee bloopers huh
odaat x glee (1/?)
syd: didn’t you know dolphins are just gay sharks.
elena: no-
