Does anyone else feel, like, a weird inhibition against starting new TV shows?  Like, there are shows I want to watch but when I think about sitting down to start it something in me goes “no you can’t just do that.”  What am i waiting for?  I feel like I need to prepare?  Brain:  You have to wait.  Me:  Wait for what???  Brain:  WAIT

Agents of SHIELD Valentine’s Day Challenge 2022!

The Quakerider Writers Guild is holding its annual Valentine’s Day Challenge! This challenge is open to writers and artists within the AoS fandom and open for all ships, not just Quakerider!

The theme of the challenge is WAYS TO SAY 'I LOVE YOU' and we will send you a personalized prompt. When you get this prompt, you can write fic, make edits and manips, do mood boards or playlists!

What to do?

Send the Quakerider Writers Guild an ask with your ship + media. Example: Philinda + fanfic, or Quakerider + mood board, or Fitzsimmons + playlist by January 31st, 2022. You can start writing and posting as soon as you get your prompt!

From "I did the dishes" to "Take my jacket" you'll receive a prompt of the different ways to say I love you to use as you see fit!

We’d love a follow, however, it’s not mandatory. This is for the fandom!

Then what?

As soon as we receive your ask with your ship and media, we will reply (privately) with your prompt within 24 hours. Pinky promise! If you don’t get a prompt within this time, PM us!

As soon as you receive your prompt, you can start your work!

Deadline is February 14, 2022.

Okay, idk where this fanon narrative of May not being on Daisy's side in 5b comes from, but, it's not true to canon. May trying to de-escalate a confrontation between Daisy and a Fitz who had shown himself to be unapologetic and callous is not May being on Fitz's side. And while I'm glad Daisy got to say the line of 'don't defend him' as it's one of the only lines she gets to have about the whole situation, that's not what May was doing. May literally called Fitz a 'super-villain' before interrogating him. May is practical. She was trying to do her job and get intel from Fitz.

May spends the entirety of 5b following and supporting Daisy's orders even when she did not agree with them. She encourages her as a leader and tries to offer advice. When Daisy and Elena fought, May told Elena to make herself useful or leave. May defends Daisy against Coulson and calls him out for unfairly putting his dying legacy on her. And Daisy herself thanks May.

Mack was not the only one on Daisy's side in 5b. May was there too, like she always is.

Hello AoS fandom! Unfortunately this is not a new Quakerider fic, however, it is a proposition to any writers out there in the fandom who, like me, think there is a lack of Quakerider long fics. I plan to begin changing that, which is where my proposition comes in to play. I would like to find a co writer to write a Quakerider fic we can be proud of. I would attempt it myself but i fear I couldn’t dedicate the time to it all myself.
