1837 was the year The Little Mermaid was published. Since Agnarr became the “king” after the incident and he met Iduna shortly after it too. Making the things that happened in the Enchanted Forest happened in 1837. And Frozen 2 happened 34 years, 5 months, 23 days after the war making Frozen 2 set in 1871 and Frozen 1 happened 3 years before so it is July of 1868. Which then explains the reason why 1840 was the date written on the map of their parents in the ship.
