i miss my mom

i've successfully managed to live my life in a way that (except for my beautiful wife who i somehow conned into marrying me) no one would notice i died until i didn't show up for work, including my own family. like mother like daughter i guess. i have made almost zero impact on anyone's life and it's my own fault. i'm so selfish and closed off and so is the rest of my family and my mom eventually gave up on ever talking to any of her children and then she died alone. the fact that i have to wait a good thirty years for that to happen to me is fucking agonizing. i won't even have kids to feel bad about not calling me, it'll just be estranged older siblings who have to annoyedly take medical poa over the phone when i inevitably die before them.

like right after my mom died was different, that was like...physiological depression. who wouldn't be crazy and miserable for a couple years after their mom dropped dead

but now it's like...bone crushing. constant. i can't THINK anymore. i can't remember shit. nothing matters. i don't even pay attention to what happens to me most days. people are circling the moon and i just don't give a shit. i don't do anything i don't talk to anyone. im so fucking lonely and i miss my family so much. i miss what few friends i had left. everything is of my own doing. i can reach out i just... don't. there's no point bc there's nothing left of me, i don't have a personality or thoughts or anything, nothing to contribute. i can't imagine another 30 years of this

a stupid thing i do with my brothers is on their birthdays i send them pictures of one of the family pets with a party hat and a little sticker or something. i don't know why i only do it to my brothers and not my dad or my sister. i don't know why i do it at all. they've never ever acknowledged them ever but god damn if there's one thing i'm good at it's beating an unfunny bit to death
