Laughter and kind words were exchanged between myself and the handmaiden as she finished lacing up the corset I had chosen to wear beneath my gown for the day. So very hard to move in, but they offer a safe support that I've grown to depend on over the last several years. Not to mention, I enjoy the expression that crosses my husband's face every single time I disrobe in his vicinity. It is as if all else is frozen around us, and only the two of us remain. I was not even aware he was capable of having such emotions and feelings. He is a novel I fear never to finish which is perfectly fine with me. A story filled with secrets and betrayed trust, covered and sheltered by a growing love given by someone who never held such intentions.
Rather interesting things and events have taken my time as of late. Aside from the growing relationship between my husband and I, those of House Eventide are still shadows to me. Lord Emberfury and I shared a few brief words and company to which I may have insulted him by the blunt words I used. I only meant to make him fully aware that my tongue would not be stilled if my honest opinion is requested. I suppose regardless, I got my point across to him.
I penned a missive to Elenaris earlier this morning in hopes of gaining an audience with her later this week. I wished to speak to her of matters pertaining to the Forum she hosted. I was given details from Dathion as I did not feel well and could not attend myself. Several questions ignited my curiosity and I cannot wait to see her again.
Dominance isn’t shouts and demands, it’s a hand at the small of your back and whispered words that make your head spin.

Business Flier
Riesse’s head bent over the flier, a soft gasp of delight slipping out before her tongue was caught between her teeth, diligently inking and dusting the announcement as she prepared it. “This is something I -must- visit and often.”
This is my thing! I might have to adjust days but this is where it’s at so far.
COME OR DON’T, IDK, BRB HIDING
I am attracted to the idea of your lips exploring my body as if it were a map and you kept getting lost on purpose.
I still remember the very moment my father approached me with the rolled parchment clutched in his talons. The look of determination etched upon his aged face was something I had grown to recognize. His mind was already made up and no matter the desperate accusations I threw at him, my future was sealed. The countless nights I laid awake, fearful and vulnerable, as the time to meet my arranged husband drew closer. The Spellshatter name was not lost upon me, and though my bloodline was not well known, it was ancient and powerful. Or so I remember reading.
I can recall how it felt that day, as I was bathed in scented oils and powdered with the affectionate words of my chambermaid and handmaidens as they dolled me up in the finest fabrics my father's money could buy. All the while, that practiced smile remained to assure them of my happiness, but I was trapped within my own mind; screaming. The hours flew by from that point on, as the faces blurred together. It wasn't until I was introduced to Dathion himself, did I force myself to pay attention. His presence demanded respect, though there was a distance in his eyes. There was a story behind the man, but I held little interest in learning of it.
We had been married for a few months when word reached my ears of movement from the Eventide part of my family. Long had it been since I had seen Elenaris and perhaps there was a part of me that regretted that. Even still, I find it hard to be in her presence without the sting of guilt. I reached out to her and to my surprise, she welcomed us both into her warm embrace. She and my husband even went a step further, and worked out details that would bring him into the leadership of her battalion. A position of responsibility and power was given to Dathion and for that, I would forever be in debt to my cousin.
Now, I sense a certain power stirring within my husband, that grasped my attention in ways I was certainly not expecting. For the entirety of our marriage thus far, I've chosen to have my own personal bedchambers as opposed to sharing his bed. I was surprised that he went along with the idea and he seemed to have his own issues to deal with, so perhaps it was a blessing to him as well. But now? It's different. -He- is different. We've shared conversations over wine and taken walks through the gardens of our Estate together. And in a shared moment of weakness, we found comfort in one another. What does this mean? Is there desire burning with me as a result of actual love, or is it only his power I crave?
Plated digits scanned across the flat expanse of steel presented before him, the excited embers that once scattered across the small forge finally settling into an immaculate display of a broadsword. A dirty, soot covered grin slowly started to crawl at the edges of Dathion’s lips, it was finished. “Keeper.” He rumbled deeply into the quiet air about the tucked away forge, the name for the sword just as sharp as its long edge. He slowly lifted the blade with both of his gauntlets, proud to see it so perfectly weighted by his hands as he let the small pool of water consume and cool the steel. A slow building breath started to fill his lungs, feeling each pound of his heart flow faster and stronger within his chest as the finished broadsword cut clean from the water and into the foggy air of the Spellshatter forge.
Aeofel Spellshatter had once equipped himself with the same blade, now reforged by Dathion’s hand it had become fitted for the field of battle once more. Making a fine, plated pace through hallway upon hallway the Lord finally happened upon the curled mess of crimson that lay splayed out above the small chair his wife situated herself in for a glass of wine. “Ele’neya.” He boomed, even his whispered tones sounded of thunder and gravel with a touch of well-placed honey; assuring his role as a political speaker. It was not a few minutes after displaying his fine affection for the blade that wine was settled, chairs were tilted, and the fire he had once felt for Ele’neya was rekindled in a whirlwind of passion.
It had all settled the next morning, small breaks of the ever burning sun peaking and reflecting through shaded curtains to stir the Spellbreaker from his bear-like slumber. Acidic green pools finally rested upon the longsword that was gifted by Lady Eventide, canting his chin until his piercing vision rested upon his slumbering wife. It would be the blade fit for his future son, an edge of steel that carried a story to be passed down further generations of his name; a blade one day worthy of a name should his son wield it with such an honor.

(So for those that routinely follow my story and are curious as to all hell what this wife stuff is, it is nigh time I get to explaining. As I wish I had five years or so ago, I came to realization I want to play this game for the fun and not for the responsibility and sadly the environment surrounded around Merialeth provided too much of the latter. It has been decided between me and Merlaleth’s player that their last rekindling was sort of a dud and Dathion proceeded to marry Ele’neya. (who is played by Merialeth’s player, no worries there.) mucho thankerino for the support, and for the awesome RPs.)
(I'd also like to extend a huge thank you to the Eventide group for accepting our ideas and making us feel so welcomed. It's been so much easier and more fun to settle into this new concept and we hope to continue sharing storyline with all of you!)

In the middle of the day as eleneya and Dathion spellshatter gathered around the steps of the office that Lady Elenaris frequented when within the city.
Approached by a house guard dressed in the crimson and gold colors of Eventide, he came bearing gifts. With a low bow to the Lord and...
