After 9 months of waking up early in the mornings because of the pregnancy symptoms, Maud Walsh gave birth to Hugh’s firstborn son. They decided to call him Morgan Walsh, who was born the 31 Dec 1300.

THE ATWOODS

In September, at the Atwood’s, Geoffrey aged up to Child.

Followed by the happiness that his sister's birth gave to the family. Isabel Atwood was born the 23 Nov 1300.

Hugh helped a chicken get out of the shell and they named it Millie.

Maud has successfully entered the second trimester of her pregnancy. They managed to afford a candle making station which Hugh has already begun to use. The candles that he is making are being sold to the neighbors.

While trying to collect some honey and wax that the bees had been making, Hugh got stung by one. They seem to be furious since then so it has been really hard to collect more wax for making candles in the future.

With March passing by quickly, Maud started to show pregnancy symptoms. She’s feeling excited about having his first kid, and she is hoping that nothing goes wrong due to the high expectations of her husband. When she told Hugh, he felt relieved, and started imagining a future in which he succeeded what his father hoped for in his life, the objective of having an enormous Walsh Legacy.

As a new year began, Baba died in January of 1300.

Hugh felt as if his whole world had just collapsed in front of his eyes and taken a turn. The Walsh Farm was inherited by him and his new wife Maud.

They use the little money that Baba had left behind to buy a Highland cow, a chicken and a roaster (Darla, Princess and Peep).

1300 - INTRODUCTION

For the first time I have worked so hard preparing a challenge that I have decided to publish it? Yes!!

Meet the Walsh Family, the main characters of this challenge.

After the love of his life died giving birth to his son Hugh, Baba Walsh, who had always dreamed of having an extensive lineage vowed never to be engaged to any woman again, dedicating himself fully to taking care of his son Hugh motivated by the fear of losing the only thing he had left of his beloved.

Fifteen years later at the begining of 1300, after Baba’s (29) death from pneumonia, Hugh Walsh (15) will have to face a life with few resources, with his newlywed wife Maud Atwood (14) and with his father’s desire in mind to have a great offspring.

Maud, her twin Agnetta and older brother Edmund Atwood (19) had lived at the orphanage since their parents die during their childhood. At the age of 16, Edmund moved with his sisters into a small house and married Eleanor Green (19), with whom he has a son, Geoffrey Atwood (5). To this day Agnetta still lives with her brother and Maud has moved into the Walsh Farm with Hugh.

This is the Walsh Farm at the beginning of the 1300's.
