amrita has a personality extremely well suited to a healer–gentle, compassionate, wants to help/doesn’t want to hurt anyone. she could be great as a warrior, if a somewhat small one–her instincts are to protect and defend, physically if she must, and she’d rather block a blow than deliver one. she’d make an excellent diplomat, even, with her levelheadedness and quick thinking—

yet here she is, a rogue whose primary fighting style is designed to kill or brutally incapacitate, an elven woman without a voice both literally and figuratively, forced to fight for safety, for survival. she will kill to defend someone who cannot defend themselves, but she hates herself a little more for every drop of blood that stains her hands, every life she cannot escape taking

and if they wanted a speech about rebellion and choosing to do the right thing despite the risks, they should’ve given it to bodhi rook--he chose to rebel in the first place, come on.

he looks almost peaceful, lying unconscious at the side of the path where he’d fallen early in the fight, and amrita waves away alistair’s suspicious glance as she moves closer to determine just how injured he is. she startles slightly when he moves, reaching instinctively for the blade recently re-sheathed at her back, but relaxes when she remembers that leliana has already stripped him of his weapons. she carefully offers him a hand to pull him to his feet, head tilted at a curious angle as alistair’s voice sounds from just behind her.

yes!!!!! oh my god i know it was an action movie or whatever but i wanted so badly to see more of bodhi rook, i wanted to know more about his relationship with galen erso, i would’ve loved to have seen the tipping point that drove him not just to defect but to pick up the torch that would eventually bring down the empire and carry it straight to the resistance. i wanna know how cassian andor found kaytoo and what made him decide to reprogram the droid instead of discarding him or passing him off to someone else--was it practicality or compassion? why is cassian so jaded?

I WANT SAW GERRERA’S STORY!!!!!! tell me why he’s an ‘extremist’ even in the eyes of the rebel alliance, why he seems devoted to the idea of freedom but has no problem using unethical torture methods, what happened to him holy shit both of his legs are makeshift prosthetics and he’s walking around with a respirator strapped to his chest i wanna know what happened to saw gerrera p l e a s e

i really don’t give a fuck about jyn erso, i think she’s flat and boring and her relationships with both of her father figures felt weird and half-assed but honestly if they’d put some more time and effort into her character and cast a woc in the role, that alone would’ve made the film infinitely better SO
