So, I'm stuck with this Growlithe. It kinda sat with me while I was at Mr. Fuji's and I've been made to adopt it. There's no point to training it right now when I have Sabrina, Blaine and the Viridian City gym leader left to face--fire and ground aren't exactly weak opponents. Psychic either-- I honestly wanna save her for last but I don't think that's how it works. Maybe later, I'll use this little guy. He's not so bad, got a lot of spunk. Listens well. I think I'll evolve him once I get my hands on a fire stone. Arcanine are good for traveling, and I need one for my Pokedex anyways. I think I'll stop by the Silph Company to see what sorta catching tech they're coming up with. There are grunts around, but they're weak. If they give me a problem I'll thrash 'em. And hey, knowing Red or Blue, they'll probably want to take these phonies out. I need a good gauge on my training anyways.

[ he shrugs, throwing a leg over the Pokémon’s back. ] 

You scared of heights or something? It’s not a long walk from here, though. This guy just evolved so I’m excited. Just head south from here. You know the way, right?

[ she fixes her hat a bit and nods, obviously avoiding that question. ] 

"Y-yeah— I know the way. Go on ahead."

He isn't sure what to make of her hesitance, but decides that she was probably just afraid of heights. Oh well. And he's off!! The wind feels awesome--he's flown on Pidgeotto before, but there was something way cooler about this. It was what he'd dreamt about as a kid. And soon he's there, releasing all of his Pokémon; Charizard, Pidgeotto, Rhyhorn, Eggexcute, Kadabra and finally, Gyarados. They're left to their own devices, while Green quickly directs Gyarados and Pidgeotto to the water. He won't wait for her to arrive, unfortunately.

I can't believe that happened. I can't what even happened-- [ he's trembling in Mr. Fuji's house, bundled up and unable to sleep. A tiny Growlithe is trying to comfort him but to no avail]

[ Green just has to beam at that; was the news getting around so quickly? Both he and his Pokémon were pleased, though probably for different reasons]

Yep. Right after I took the Celadon Badge. Almost burned her gym down. [ he’s very proud of himself omg ]

[ Stares at the Charizard in awe, but soon snaps out of it— Wait did he ask to— oh right, right never mentioned that.

"N-no… I’m fine on the ground…"

[Leaves a Message] Hey Green, you're probably busy so just going to leave a message. In Lavender Town right now, hope you're taking care of yourself probably going to hang around this place just a bit. So call or send something so I know you're alive!

[ he doesn't call back, unfortunately. His Pokegear is on silent, because he too is in Lavender Town. The Tower, specifically...and something eerie was going on as he became more and more lost looking for that Marowak...the fog thickens but he toils on, ignorant to the ominous presence trailing behind him]

    —     “…?” Notices the young newcomer, eyes focusing on him, head tilting a bit to the side in silent wonder. Haven’t Red seen this kid before? Somewhere… Else? Putting his finger on it seems like an impossible task right now, making the older trainer grow even more curious about him. Yet, instead of asking, Red welcomes the kid by walking up to him, blocking his path and, without previous warning, pinching the youngster’s cheeks like marshmallows.

Green is on his way with a one-track mind, not paying much attention to any strangers he passed because their existence was currently irrelevant. He had to get to Saffron for his sixth badge, and his bike had a flat so a double-time was required. The boy's expression is hilariously serious, and even more so when he's startled by a sudden- "H-Hey, whaddya think you're doing?!" he's blinking as though waking up from a dream because--wow--was this actually happening? People didn't just come up out of the blue to invade his personal space!  He stops promptly, grabbing at the other's hands to try and pry him off. "What's the big idea? You need something mister, or what?"
