I made a thing. Whenever I was decorating kitchens I got annoyed by the lack of well, kitchen-esque posters, so I made some to fill my need. Thought I would share just in case.

They were pretty easy to make, so yeah just, don’t take credit thanks.

What are Nomsies?

Nomsies are Sims based on foods. You take a fruit, candy, or any kind of food you like and shape it into a Sim that resembles the food you had in mind. What? How do I create a Sim based on food? Very simple. Let’s say you take a banana. Banana’s are yellows, thus the sim should contain yellow colours of even hues of green when the banana isn’t ripe yet. You make the Sim as to how you think a banana would look like as a Sim.

Okay, but how do I go about doing traits and whatnot? Well. You can take traits that resemble that type of food. So, when would you eat a banana? When you’re sad or when it’s hot outside? If it’s when its warm, you could give it the “Loves the heat" trait and so on. Example: Chocolate Chip contains the trait overemotional, because I tend to eat chocolate chip cookies when I’m sad. I get it! Are there any specific rules when creating a Nomsie? There aren’t any specific rules except for making the Sim resemble that food in your eyes and having fun of course. It would also be handy to name it after the food you are making her/him look like! Oh and another thing; Nomsies do not have coloured skins! Other than that; Have fun with creating a Nomsie!

We’ll pretend like I tried on the preview. We’ll call it a happy Dragon Valley release present. I’ve been playing the game, who’s got time for previews? Not me apparently. We’ll also ignore the EA eyes, I forgot to put my contacts in, oops.

I wanted some plant sim freckles as too many face overlays makes for some ugly. I do plan on making these into face paint, just not right now. Feel free to blame Dragon Valley and the fact I didn’t originally intend to share but I think they look okay. And who knows, maybe someone out there really needs some plant sim freckles like me?

Okay…finish the ears! They might look weird in CAS because of some crappy edges…but in game everything’s OK. And the horns last time used for my dragon sim, I fixed some issues and upload them now~
