I’ve just enrolled in the self-teaching option with schoolism! My first course is “Environment Design” with Nathan Fowkes in preparation of my upcoming task to design the environments for my graphic novel. First assignment: masterstudies in 30 minutes. I haven’t done one in a long time and felt pretty rusty. I hope I’ll get better at it soon. I think for the next one I’ll have to keep an eye out for hard edges to make the read better.

My warm-up for today. The 5 min poses were the best today I think. Also I included some 1min head gestures just to proof to myself how desperately I need to revise head construction. XD

I spend far more than 25 minutes on my last figure, mostly because I’m really bad at accuracy. Also that lying figure from above .... I guess that’s a challenge for another day.

But I can see more structure in my 30 sec-120 sec gestures and that’s encouraging!
