Noah hadnât been sure if he had last the creature or if it had given up on him and moved to another target. However, after some unknown expanse of time, he no longer heard the noise it made behind him. It was fast, almost fast enough to keep up with him as he ran on all fours. His speed was slower than he normally went, however. The electricity that his body gave off was weak and much less than it normally was. There really wasnât much of it to give a good shock let alone make his own body move faster than a normal panther could travel. Still, as he curved down the street, a short couple of arcs richoted off of cars that were left empty and wrecked on both sides of the street.
Although the thing that had been chasing after him was gone, he could still hear the sounds of others around. Moving closer and closer. If he was a normal human⊠or conduit; heâd have been scared shitless at this. However, Noah knew this tactic. They were circling, moving closer, and intimidating. Hunting, thatâs what they were doing; hunting their prey. It was a position that Noah hadnât been used to being in and made him wonder why or how they were keeping track of him.
Although it wasnât as strong in this form, Noah picked up the scent of something or really someone that was quite familiar. Slowing down, he kept a steady pace as he saw the figure of the strong large man that he knew all to well. Elijah sounds his name and Noah came to a stop in front of him. He stared up at the man before letting out another feline roar and shaking his head. It surprised him that Elijah spoke as if he was questioning if it was him or not. After all how many white panthers with slight hints of blue in their fur existed in the world. Â His head thrust back behind him as he moved to his paws and tensed his body in an attacking position. He let out another more aggressive roar as his fur stood up and he heard the sounds even more clear and closer this time.
Elijah sighed and tried not to let his guard down too much, but he knew that his heart did different things when Noah was around. He sighed and looked at the cougar, but as soon as he saw the aggressive position the other made he sighed. âShit.â He grumbled and looked back to see three of the creatures heading towards him. âNoah⊠get out of here.â He stated and looked towards the creature. He didnât know how much energy he had left inside of him, but he was going to use all of it if itâs to save his and his boyfriendâs lives. âGo Noah.â
Elijah grunted and green energy started to raise up from the ground. One of the creatures tried to swing at them, but Elijah shot a probability bolt towards the creature. The bolt didnât have its normal effect, because normally it would have threw the creature across the street and had various probable outcomes. But this time it just knocked the creature back a few feet. But gave them time enough for the forcefield to set up. After finishing it up he felt to one knee and tried to catch his breathe. He smirked as his powers held up and kept the creatures back from them. âYou are really a hard headed guy arenât you?â He gave out a soft chuckle.
