A frequent argument I see being made as to why ICE is bad is that they kind of just take whoever they want regardless of immigration status or if they came legally, which, don't get me wrong here, it's a great point to make because letting a pseudopolice force just do whatever they want is generally considered an awful idea. However, even if they didn't do that, it's still important that no one should have their human rights violated as happens in ICE detention centers regardless of if they came legally, and that the notion of immigration law as it is today is kind of fucked in general
