“well that’s not very nice is it?”
“I did apologize.”
Kurt turned to the man when he spoke raising an eyebrow. The other man seemed around his age, and his fashion choices were making Kurt give him a small bit of trust without even having met the man. “Isn’t it a little early in the day?” he asked, smile on his lips. It wasn’t a no.
Giving a playful roll of the eyes, Eliot placed a hand gently on the guys shoulder. “It’s never to early to have a drink.” Tilting his head back towards the units, Eliot signaled the other to follow. Dropping his hand he kept the other in his pocket. “I’m Eliot by the way.”
“You know. Flamingos. For croquet.”
“I think I saw that in a movie once. But I’m sure it would be like playing pool with a noodle, uneventful.”
“Sunshine?Unicorns?Take your pick.”
“Whichever one makes you sound less insane, because the world isn’t sunshine and unicorns.
“ … and i’m done with this conversation. “
“Excuse you, I’m done with this conversation.. First.”
“i have no idea.”
“And that now makes two of us, new subject. Favorite alcoholic beverage?”
“I should have known. That, my friend, is biology. Riemann’s model?”
“And honestly I don’t see why I have to learn this, I’m not even taking biology classes.”
“you’re clearly in my way. that’s what i was saying. all i want is to get to my room.”
“I tend to tone people out, sorry about that. Won’t promise that it wont happened again.”
“Nothing importance. I was pretty much talking to myself.”
“Then I’m sure you fit in splendid, couldn’t help but overhear eight others doing the same.”
This is trash, but so am I
Eliot is my child.
Kurt had spent the past two weeks moving into his house properly, and making sure it looked presentable. Not that he had anyone to present to, he didn’t know a soul in the town, at least to his knowledge. He decided it was time to come out of his house though, get to know the town and the people. It was smaller than he was used to, but he was hoping that the new surroundings would be a good change for him. This dream died ten minutes later when frustration hit him like a punch to the gut.
“Ugh, is there anyone who can point me in the direction of a decent latte? I can’t find a coffee shop anywhere.”
A break from school was what Eliot really needed, he needed out of the pity party of hell. Illinois definitely wasn’t the picture perfect vacation spot, it was better then going home, no way in hell would he be back there. Sitting near a fountain in the park, Eliot lazily took a drag of his Merit. It wasn’t the best weather, spring was taking it’s time. Peering through his shades, Eliot took one last drag before stubbing out the cigarette. Jumping to his feet, Eliot slid a hand into his vest pocket as he began walking. Stopping only when a voice spoke, Eliot turned towards the guy. “It’s Illinois, even worst Magnolia. The best latte is at a local Starbucks but even then it probably tastes like shit... But I make some killer cocktails if you would like.”
“What are you even talking about?”
