Damn 2gether eps 12 left me sad and crying. I dont think I've ever cried throughout the series, not even when Tine ended their "fake-flirting" thing. The last scene just made me so sad because we know how insecure Tine is.
Each relationship Tine had before Sarawat ended because none of the girls seemed to want Tine for what he is. Then Sarawat came to his life, put dedication and all his attention to Tine. Tine feels special, like he's finally wanted. I really do think this plays a big part on Tine finally falling hard for Sarawat.
But then Pam came, and it looks like Sarawat seems to prefer her than him and still has feelings for her. That time Tine listened to his music all night crying, I already got teared up because it's getting real bro. Tine feels like he's going to be left again.
After Sarawat convinced him Tine has nothing to be worried about, that Pam means nothing to him, Tine felt a little bit relieved and let his guard down. He realized maybe he's just overthinking it. He might actually get what he wants this time.
THEN OH THEN, he saw Pam hugging Sarawat and being all romantic and everything comes crumbling down for Tine. He feels so stupid for believing even for a second he finally gets what he wants, that someone might ACTUALLY choose him, want him, and not leave him behind.
That is why Tine saying "Why?" while sobbing and punching the wall hits me hard. Tine is hating himself. Tine is questioning his life. Why is his life like this? Why does this keep happening? Is something wrong with him? Is it just his fate? Why did no one seem to want him, even when he already gave 100% of himself to the relationship?
It's just so fitting and in character for Tine. I remembered the time before Sarawat's first drunken-kiss, Tine said to him he's going to pursue Pear because "I just want a date." (the translation said girlfriend but in thai word, fan is gender neutral so i put the liberty to say date)
This shows that our boy Tine is lonely. He just wants someone to make him feels like he's special, and he thought Sarawat might be the one, that is why he's all-in in the relationship. When the whole Pam thing happened, it hit him that he might be wrong and IM JUST SO SAD I NEED TO CRYYY.
(I know it's just a big misunderstanding, but GEEZ SARAWAT, you need to get your priorities straight, if you really want Tine, why are you still responding to Pam???? I'm so mad)
