Why I’m Keeping This
I just finished watching Kaguya-sama: Love Is War – The Stairway to Adulthood, which released last month. This is probably my favorite rom-com anime (I haven’t seen many), and in this TV special, Kaguya (now an adult) has a memories photo album filled with photos of her and Shirogane as high schoolers when they were dating.
That moment instantly made me sad. It was deeply bittersweet. We only have one life, and it made me want to cherish my memories more intentionally, especially my memories with Sarah.
I know that over time, I’ll forget many of these details. What I want to do now is create a private, chronological record of moments, trips, and turning points from my relationship with Sarah. This document will be continuously updated as I remember things to add.
I’m not sure how healthy this is for me, but it’s something I need to do at this moment. It will be bittersweet, sad, and full of tears.
