“I use the term decently very loosely,” she laughs for a moment before sighing. “I get $11 an hour to hand people shoes, so I mean it’s not that bad of a break but nothing compared to like an actual job.”
“Well that is pretty nice...Probably as good as it can get for a position at a bowling alley. And it must be nice at times like these, when it’s a quiet evening.” Elise tried her hardest to seem supportive, but she was sure it wasn’t coming off that way. “--I haven’t been bowling since I was thirteen and I hated it then. But leave it up to some cute guy to convince me to give it another try.” She changed the conversation, glancing over at the somewhat empty building. “He hasn’t showed up yet, though. So I guess I can still call it a miserably boring game.”
