I really enjoyed the film, both in terms of subject matter, content and filming. The Chinese science fiction film is as good as the West in achieving this feat. If you have time, you should definitely go see this movie!
I love this montage. It's like a grandpa growing up with a little boy, even though he's dead.
Sweet Story I miss my grandpa, too.

This is my final assignment of the exhibition proposal, and I shoot a video about our model of exhibition. And this is the intro to our work: Emily Kame Kngwarreye is one of Australia’s most important and compelling artists. Framed as an outsider, she only started acrylic painting in her 70s and during a mere eight years produced a prolific and important body of work. Stylistically apart from the traditional Indigenous, Kngwarreye’s painting is wholly modern and original and has drawn critical comparison by Western audiences to the great masterworks of modernism by Jackson Pollock for her bold abstract gestural brushstrokes. Her handling of colour has been compared to Robert and Sonia Delaunay, and Impressionists like Claude Monet. Despite these frequent references, her works have never before today been shown alongside these great masters of Western modernism.
An arrangement and presentation only possible with the National Gallery of Australia’s exceptional collection of International Modernist Art, Emily and the Masters is a select celebration of exceptional painting. Through placing two of Emily Kame Kngwarreye’s greatest masterpieces in dialogue with some of the most beloved paintings from the NGA’s collection, this exhibition hopes to reintroduce these famous artists and major artworks to audiences afresh, inviting direct comparison into the delightful universal communicative elements of abstract aesthetic expression.
The National Gallery of Australia is please to announce alongside this groundbreaking and highly accessible exhibition not only the release of a new book, podcast series, and a vast array of other digital content related to the show, but also a comprehensive in-person programme of exciting social events, creative workshops, educational talks, and inclusive guided tours.
Music Tips for video! Writing your own is a good challenge.
Ryuichi Sakamoto is a really great composer and I like him a lot. All the films he worked on also left a very deep impression on people. This is a video of Ryuichi Sakamoto composing the music for the Chinese film "The Last Emperor".
Get the in-depth story behind both music and sound design for The Haunting of Bly Manor:
Sound is a secondary creation to video. I need to listen to a lot of music to make a video, and this final assignment was no exception. It wasn't easy to find a piece of music that was appropriate for my content.
This is a very interesting channel to explain the art through ten minutes. I really like many of their videos.

When I was looking at Nam June Paik's artwork recently, I noticed that in 1988, David Bowie was performing a new version of Look Back in Anger live, alongside other artists and musicians. At that time, it was Nam June Paik who provided the graphic design and satellite transmission technology.
clips of the final assignment
Ai Weiwei produced the documentary Little Girl’s Cheeks in November 2009 to show all of his investigations in Wenchuan earthquake. Although the format of the documentary was nothing special, the content expressed therein: the facts presented from a perspective not reported by the official media, was very shocking. The accounts of the parents of the students who died, interspersed with some piece of official news, the audience's mood switches back and forth among sadness, anger and helplessness.
The intense background music in the whole video drives the audience's inner tension. The final result was unexpected.
