“Nah, it’s sweet. It uses like, cream cheese. It’s not salty. There’s strawberries inside, too.”

Ree takes the knife and slices off a pretty big slice. They know Poppy, and they know she deserves a little treat for herself. They grab some rainbow sprinkles and dust the top of the cake with that, before sliding it over and giving a wink.

“I think you deserve a treat. Eat as much as you want.”

That big audible gasp when she got the piece of cake. It was so big! Look at those obsidian coloured eyes sparkle at receiving it from Ree. She took the plate carefully into her hands and turned it around, looking at every single sprinkle they put on for her. And then she put it down, to do an energetic little dance!

Victory! Was her body language, but then she hunched up and, like a little kid about to do something naughty, she grinned while putting a finger to her lips in the universal 'shush'.

She picked up a spoon and scooped some of the cake up right into her mouth. She chewed and chewed and chwed and then....

"Wow!!! This is so yummy Ree! You're so good! You should become a chef!"

Paradox Poppy looks pretty satisfied right now.

Ree smiles gently, before setting down the cake pan in their hands upside down. They pull the cake pan away, to reveal…

“Cheesecake, but with a brownie crust. You ever had cheesecake before, kid?”

"No, I never had it. It's a cake with cheese? Does it taste salty?"

The brownie crust did interest Poppy though. Her little eyes were taking in the whole confection quite intensely, as if silently willing the cake to tell her all its secrets. But alas, it will not, because it is cake.

"So...I can have a little slice?" She was a good, girl she wasn't going to ask for a whole slice, they must have made it for themself, too. If not for everyone at the League, Poppy might possibly gorge herself on junk all the time.

Here comes the million pokedolalr question:

"...Can I marry a really cute toaster when I grow up? Or maybe a handsome plesiosaurus?"

Since Halloween is sneaking up on us what sort of fun activities or costumes do you have planned for the spookiest night of the year? Do you have any fun traditions or treats that you're looking forward to?

"Mama is working. Larry is working. Hassel is working. And I'm not allowed to stay out late alone. So I'll be at the League building giving out candy to trainers how visit us!"

Poppy didn't really celebrate holidays. Who was she supposed to celebrate with, unless it was a company mandated party?

THE FIRST RACER HAS BEEN ANNOUNCED!

Tonight on Jubilife TV , on their Sinnoh Now segment, here came a surprise announcement and guest! Coming all the way from her new home in Kanto was Rika Navaro has taken center stage to show off her new racer's uniform under Silph Co's banner!

Congratulations, Rika (@monterraverde)!!

Here an excerpt from the short interview:

Rika: "I'm absolutely over the moon to be chosen for this honor, I've not been a part of Silph Co. for very long, but my skills as a trainer and rider of these wonderful pokemon are second to none among my peers. I fully intend to bring home victory for this team, vamos!"

HAPPY YEAR OF THE GARCHOMP!

This is a dash event blog for the Sinnoh Lunar New Year Festival, which hosts the Sinnoh New Year's Race, where racers vie for the title of luckiest person in the world!

As stated, this event is dashboard only and while there will eventually be a Discord available to all festival goers all events and interactions will be done on Tumblr only.

Every year Sinnoh celebrates the bringing of a brand new year, each denoted by a Pokemon that calls Sinnoh home! Twelve Pokemon in all, for a cycle that continues on and on...

This year is the year of the Garchomp. The main event for the New Year's festivities is the New Year's Race! There will be small events centered around the race itself, yet the main event is the Applin of everyone's eyes! Sponsors clamor to be seen on the prospective racers, to show not only support of this age old heritage of Sinnoh, but to also push their own brands on the worldwide stage. Since 2019, the race has been televised internationally, drawing in so much more attention than in olden times.

Will you be among the racers? The spectators? Come one, come all -- the great race for the new year will soon begin!

Poppy's Ace, Tinkaton (Big Mama), is a lvl 100 MONSTER.

This is, however, not due to intense training over years, but due to Tinkaton aggressively murdering Corviknights while the two of them were stuck in a forest for over a month, for the sole purpose of survival.

they gently place a bag of candies on poppy’s head. Ree snorts softly. “Having fun, kid?”

"Yeah, I am, are you?" Although she was getting sleepy. Poppy still wasn't used to staying up all night, even when she was working as a member of the Elite Four during the season. There came a little yawn from the tiny girl and she rubbed at hers eyes to try and muster up some extra wakefulness as she handed Ree a dango stick in exchange for candy.

Suddenly, all over the world, people who knew Ree as friends receive this card., thanking them for being Ree's friend

When she was done giving out treats, she's going to find a store that sells craft art stuff, so she could make handmade cards saying 'Thank you for being Ree's friend!' The little girl is so happy for Ree to have so many good friends by their side! She absolutely adores them, so knowing they're so well loved made her feel proud and happy!!!

”Hey Poppy! Are you having fun?”

"I am! Lots of fun. Hassel went missing again, but that's okay, I'll find him later. Do you want a treat?"

She held out a stick of dango, all pink. "This is for you!"

Grusha offers a faint smile, doing his best to kneel down with his Weavile helping him to Poppy's level. "Trick... or treat?" (kokorowoutsu)

"Hello, Grusha...." There was a little blush on the child's cheeks, as she always thought he was super pretty! Poppy fumbled with the dango and almost dropped it, but she presented it with a rigid back and a nervous laugh.

"It's two kinds of berries! I hope you like it!!"

"Are those treats I see?"

He is carrying around the pikachu cotton candy from his booth to give out.

"Oh, you're Mister Wooper!" Still wrong, Poppy, but since she was never corrected, this was his permanent nickname until he did. "Thank you for the Pikachu cotton candy. This is for you!"

The little girl pointed out which flavor was which. "That one is chocolate. The middle one is strawberry and the third one tastes like blueberries!"

"Hey! Heard you were giving out treats?" Hau asked, tilting their head to the side.

Behind her, Big Mama was hammering diligently at the contents of a bucket, which was taken and molded by Poppy with some skill into mochi dango!

"This one is grape flavor!"
